I know, my boys are having a hard time with it too and my wife is a wreck. We had him for 13 years so he was our first kid right when we moved out on our own.

So sorry to hear this. We had to put our beloved Buddy down in 2012. He was 13 years old and we just didn't want to see him suffer anymore. (On the bright side my oldest daughter told me later that day that I was going to be a grandma! Am loving that role!)

A little good news would be nice for sure. We've had nothing, but bad news around here lately. Now my other dog, who's 12, won't eat because I'm sure he misses the one we just put down. : (

My grandfather worked at Union Pacific for almost his entire career. When he was in his 20's, he was even fired and rehired by them.

When he retired in his late 50's as the revenue director, all they did was give him a (cheap) UP watch and told him to clear out his office by Monday morning.

If you have the luxury of time, talk it over with those closest to you. You probably already know the decision you want to make, but just need some nudging. There's usually never a right answer, just weigh your options like the husker bros said above.

If it's so tough that you can't decide which is the better option, go with your heart over your head. If you literally cannot make a decision, flip a coin.

I've found that things are rarely as bad or as good or as scary as we imagine them. Maybe remove some of the extreme expectations from your deliberations and the solution may become more obvious. Good luck

Remind then that, unless they're older than about 40, they probably don't remember the last time Iowa beat Nebraska, and the last time Iowa won two in a row against us we were still bombing the hell out of Berlin. Also remind them that if Iowa were to beat Nebraska every year from now until 2028, Nebraska would still hold the all-time series lead.

It's behind the passenger side of the dashboard so had to pull the dash, partially disassemble the dryer in the engine bay so I could pull the core box out enough to do the job. My hands are destroyed right now. Lol

It had the makings of the classic 70's & 80's NU/OU games. Osborne was 5-12 against Switzer, but 8 of those losses OU came from behind in the 2nd half to win. Last night was no different. We had the lead going into the 2nd half and lost it.
