Back in 2013, it was still a 6-team tournament. When they changed it to 8 teams a year ago, they went to full top/bottom bracket style. Since the top 2 teams already had to play a quarterfinal game in this format, they decided to do away with the double elimination in the championship.

Also, could you say that Bo's teams ever outperformed the expected results? Bo's teams were nothing but predictable. Win 9-10 games per year lose by blowouts to teams with better talent or schemes.

Darin is not bringing home B1G titles yet, but he has outperformed preseason expectations two of the last three years.

The top 9 teams having similar conference records isn't necessarily a sign of quality, more a sign of shared averageness. The Big 10 is not as good as last year, nor is there a team the caliber of Indiana in 2013/2014. Nebraska's combination of resources, fan support and recent NCAA postseason success should give them enough of an advantage to do better than 0 titles, regular season or tournament, in 5 full years.

Are you using Nebraska's recent postseason success as an inditement on their ability to win in the postseason? Wow! I think we can stop the conversation there.

It was amazing seeing the different heros polarize then choose sides. Kinda like watching our country divide the last 12 years.
