I personally think 247 does a better job overall (nationwide).  But the Husker Online guys do a great job of covering Nebraska - games, practices, recruiting ... everything.  So it kind of depends on what you're looking for.

It depends on who annoys you more: Sean Callahan, or Mike Schaefer. 

They stack up nicely as long as 247 is on top of Rivals. If you stack Rivals on top of 247 then you have R's and s's falling off the sides.

I think it would be worth it if you have an FCS team or something you enjoy watching. 

@The Dude I wanted it for MMA and boxing, mainly. The UFC has basically forced people to buy it if they want to watch events.  I find the concept of having to buy the PPVs on top of an ESPN+ sub for the biggest fights annoying, though.

Anyway, I wound up getting it for $3.33/mo for a year. How are you paying $10?

Sweet. I've downloaded that one and have it set up currently. It's probably five times better than having your BTC on an exchange account.

In 2013-2014 I ran a full node with Bitcoin Core on the PC I'm using right now...but now the blockchain is a pretty big file size and that's pretty annoying. If you wind up amassing a large amount of Bitcoin, running the full install of Core is wise, if not then Electrum is great.

So how do you actually make money? Doesnt someone have to actually pay you real money for the bitcoin, or be willing to take it as a form of payment for some good/service? Im not sold on it, seems like monopoly money to me. Theres no standard for it like with real money(gold, silver).

You trade it on an exchange just like you would with an e-Trade account, etc. There are a bunch of purely online Bitcoin exchanges where traders (read: degenerate gamblers) all over the world are trading Bitcoin.

You deposit real dollars to your exchange account and then buy Bitcoin. Then that Bitcoin either sits in your account, or you withdrawal it to a wallet program on your computer like Danny did, or you trade it on your exchange account.

And the cool thing is, unlike let's say the NYSE, there's no open & close times. It's 24/7.

Yeah he gutted it out for sure, great effort on his part.  Looked like he hurt it right at the end of R1 when he came down awkwardly.  Would've been interesting if he didn't get hurt as he was definitely getting the better of the exchanges with Jones and even on one leg he managed a split decision.  Jones looked like he could care less out there and just seemed to be content to throw some leg attacks and eek out a decision.

That's a really solid movie. It has one of the most visceral and honest family arguments I've ever seen in film, on top of all the shocking creepiness to it.

I think I've told this story on here before, but I was sort of bummed out watching it because my wife spontaneously invited her parents over for dinner the night I wanted to watch it. We had been planning for several days to watch the movie that night so I knew going into it that it would NOT be the kind of movie my in-laws wanted to watch. I was acutely aware the whole time that they didn't really like it because they would occasionally start side conversations, get on their phones, etc. It sort of dampened the whole experience for me.

I watched it last night after seeing your update. It is pretty bizarre...I liked it.

Seems most give it either 5* or 1*, not much in between. I get that given the nature of the film but I'm leaning more towards 5*.

@JJ Husker I get what you mean by that. It's just a very odd film no matter how you feel about it. Definitely unsettling even if you don't find it particularly scary.

I enjoyed it for what it was.

Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of the only meeting between UConn & Nebraska - a 15-0 win in the Regional Final that sent UConn to the College World Series.

NU better learn how to hit LHP and fast.  UConn's top pitcher is a lefty.

My heart dropped a little bit seeing UNO getting dropped into the UCLA regional.  I knew they were going to be a #4 seed regardless but figured they'd have a puncher's chance with Kinney on the mound and was hoping they'd get drawn into a more 'winnable' (and yes I use that term loosely) matchup against a #1 seed.  UCLA is an absolute wrecking crew and a nightmare matchup for anyone.  

No kidding. For them to get in and this to happen is just the pits. Here's hoping they can make it competitive with some luck!

UNO was going to have a hard time advancing regardless of their regional.  Might as well get the attention while facing the top overall seed.

(Full disclosure: I had no idea. You guys are right. I forgot we were regular season champs a couple years ago. Still exciting to see them doing this well at this point in the season.)

I’m still hedging my excitement on this baseball season, they have played 3 teams who sit in the bottom of the conference standings, tied for 9th, 12th and 13th (no Wiscy baseball, so only 13 total teams). However, I am excited to see the freshman production so far and what the future holds 

This admittedly seems like a very good young crop of players. I heard the NET announcers mention we had a top recruiting class last year. You can really see some of these young bucks starting to shine on the field.

Pitching will take a hit next year but overall we should be very well set into the future.

I remember seeing that play and wondered if he could pick up the ball with two hands and continue dribbling.  When it wasn't called I figured they must consider it a loose ball but the replay showed it was never tipped by the defender.  Had it been called it certainly could have changed the game.

My dad and I got to talking and we both thought it the last shot looked close to something you could've called a foul on Virginia for. The defender was up in that guy's grill as he launched that shot that ultimately didn't go in.

All in all just a crazy game.

Yeah, the foul was the right call. I knew it was a double dribble and couldn't believe they didn't call it. It only looked different because of the way it happened but that was all on the guy dribbling.

I hope he leaves his problems in Pittsburgh.

Many of the teams with young QB's are going with head coaches who can try to develop them.  They are trying to replicate the Sean McVay-Jared Goff recipe.  That's why Coach Bro and Gase are being hired.  Also, just a few years ago, Adam Gase was the hotshot QB coach.  He didn't do well with Ryan Tannehill, but that could be on Tannehill.  It will be interesting if Gase can develop Sam Darnold.  I am not a Jets fan, just a neutral observer.

There is no way the replay was conclusive either way.
