Well thanks @The Dude got me started on the Sopranos...again. I've got all the DVDs but just figured out it's on Amazon Prime so am watching it that way on my iPad so my wife can watch whatever stupid Hallmarkish thing she wants on TV for awhile   I'd never noticed before you mentioned it but yeah, Tony looks much younger in the pilot than he does in the 2nd episode. Didn't realize the pilot was done that much earlier.

I've got a never fail ad blocker. It's called "When the juice isn't worth the squeeze".

FWIW, more and more sites (especially news sites) are adding scripts that prevent users from accessing content if they have ad blockers turned on. Usually they'll serve you a message saying 'Allow ads' or something like that, but something to keep in mind.

The same thing happened to ESPN, it's hot garbage now. Less facts and stats more tweets and fashion faux pas. Like an hour or 2 of sports things people actually care about, followed by poo.

I avoid all the news I can, whether the 24 hour variety or the 30 minute or 1 hour local news. 95% of it is just super depressing and 75% of it is sh#t I don't need to know about. I'm much happier when I don't see any news. I don't feel like I'm missing anything important and, if I am, I don't care.

My childhood was typical.... summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap sack and beaten with reeds.... pretty standard, really.

@The Dude Hulu has the first 2 seasons of Rick and Morty, will probably have season 3 up soon as it hust wrapped up.  It's the smartest show on TV, and I mean that sincerely.  Even though it looks abdolutely stupid at first glance.

Florida was one season removed from winning the SEC East. Liiiitle bit different situation than what Riley left at Nebraska.

I went there once when it was a dump and it was some of the best wings I ever had.  I didn't even know they had a reputation for wings beforehand.

Can a guy find better wings in Lincoln these days?

I went there about a month ago and got wings and was not impressed.

@JJ Husker I agree with your take. Ultimately, I don't think Frost is full of crap, but I do think there's always a measure of coach speak associated with these kinds of things... trying to keep his guys focused by telling the media a certain thing or two.

It's a win-win publicly if you're Frost.

Mostly coach speak, but I do think Frost is proud that both are competing and practicing at a high level.  How well QB1 plays under the lights will eventually speak for itself.  Play real well, keep it rolling.  Under perform often, make a change.  It's a great situation to have.  I like them both.

@commando Yes, thank you.

He's doing very well and is very lucky (and fixed haha).  His kennel rattled open in the bed of the pickup and he jumped out doing about 45 mph.  It looked a lot worse than it ended up being.  I was sure I'd have to put him down all the way to the vet.  I think he's going to live a long, happy life and I'll probably feel worse about the leg than he ever will.

@The Dude I hope you don't take my comment out of context poorly, and I wasn't trying to be a jerk.  I'm a dog lover, and it looks like your pup took a nasty spill. Hopefully he will adapt quickly and get back to having a fun-loving life.
