Granted defense is played with the feet but an offensive player shouldn't get a free layup or 30 because defenders are afraid to touch the guy with the ball. Also the refs need to start calling when a dribbler veers from a straight line to the basket to make contact with a defender.

The thing I don't like about the rule change, is that the NCAA might've responded to the all time low scoring by failing to consider any other reasons as to why scoring could be lower. Did they consider that teams just were bad FT shooting teams, or that teams were just bad shooters or that turnovers were at an all time high.

So many reasons to why scores were so low last year, and the NCAA decides that it MUST be just the fouling situation.
