Not to be picky, but I believe he arrived not as a freshman, but after a stint in Jr. College...maybe 2 years?; but agree with the rest. Also, one might argue that Fred either didn't trust him/or believe in him enough to give him substantial playing time early and it's speculation on all of us as to whether or not that is partially Fred's fault or he really just wasn't ready. Regardless, I'm glad he's back and he will be a positive and marketable storyline throughout the season.

24 I picked the good guys to go 5-4 and tie Minnesota for third place, but Minnesota wins the head-to-head. I have Wisconsin winning the division and Iowa coming in second. There are so many games that seem like a coin flip. In the end I just picked the home team as the victors. It will be fun to see how it actually shakes out.

You all do realize that it won’t matter if we run the table, ESPN won’t give us or any other B1G school (save maybe Ohio State and Michigan) props now that their network is anchored to the ACC, BIG XII, and SEC, right? The B1G has nothing to do with ESPN or ABC now. This is why Fox is going forward with their own version of College GameDay—so there’s counter programming and commentary to bolster the B1G and conferences it has significant ties with (see BIG XII).
