The Union on campus has ousted Runza, and is replacing it with Steak N Shake and a Chik-fil-A. I think that'll be the only Steak N Shake in Nebraska.

@Comfortably Numb Agree about Freddy's. Love that place. I have one less than 1/2 mile from my house. I have to resist the temptation daily.
-
@darkhorse85 Yeah, that place is dangerous. Their steak burgers and fries are great but that Chicago Dog Freddy's style...drool. Love those things.

CBS just used an interesting clip to promote tomorrow's bracket show. It's Husker Fans celebrating getting into the NCAA tourney from 2014.

NFL Ref Ed Hochuli is retiring.

Eric Crouch is joining the staff at Midland as Asst. Football Coach, working with Running Backs & Special Teams.
Not bad for a kids on an NAIA roster to have a Heisman-winning coach.

Are pop tarts ravioli? Why or why not?

WBB Coach Amy Williams has been named a semifinalist for the Naismith Award.
Last season the Huskers finished 8-22. This year they're 19-8 with two regular season games to go.
-
Will MBB make the tournament? BTN Stats Guy says... maybe.

Friend just tried to get Spring Game tickets at "best available" and got an error message.
May have already sold out? If so, it's the first ever sellout of the Spring Game.
-
Had to try three times to get my Spring Game ticket order to go through. Lost good seats in West Stadium twice, ended up two rows back from where our season tickets are in Section 35.
Not a great day for the UNL ticket website.

I don't get the sudden resurgence in interest in the Natalie Wood case. She died over 30 years ago. What new evidence could they have found?

In 2012 Woods’ cause of death was changed from accidental to undetermined triggering a cold case team being assigned. The team is trying to get some publicity generated and maybe someone will come forward with information- like Duvall or Walken sharing information with confidants, that may help solve the case. Neither Duvall or Walken will talk to investigators, although it was stated that Walken did share some pertainent information that will remain confidential for now and he is not considered a suspect

I have to buy bourbon as an ingredient for a recipe. Can anyone recommend a decent brand? Preferably one I can get at a local grocery store.

So, uh... Amy Williams is doing kinda well these days. WBB is up on Iowa 68-34 midway through the third quarter. From 8-22 last year to 16-6 so far this year.

Someone on the Twitter is trying to convince people Guns N Roses was a Hair Band.
That person is crazy.

Joel Taylor, who drove The Dominator on Discovery Channel's Storm Chasers series with his partner Reed Timmer, has died. He was 38. No cause of death has been announced.

Oklahoma Joe's in the Haymarket is closing after less than 6 months in business. Tried it once. It was OK, nothing special. Nothing about it made me want to go there instead of Phat Jack's or Lippy's.

@ZRod because before this year, nobody had ever heard it before because the Minnesota Vikings don't have a WINNING tradition.

In 8th Grade John Cook was given an assignment to define the term "Rebuilding Year."
He failed that assignment.

Husker Men's Gymnastics team is ranked #1 right now. Good job, boys.

So... James Palmer Jr is kind of a big deal.

Walmart is raising their base wage to $11/hour and offering paid parental leave. Almost zero large American employers offer this kind of leave. Hopefully other employers follow suit and this becomes the norm in America - we're the only major industrialized nation that doesn't offer this. American employers seem to punish families for having children. I always thought it was super weird.

So I talked to my wife about this last night, she still has friends stuck at the mart, said that yes minimum is increased but everyone's hours are being slashed and paid time off has been completely redone so that it is very difficult to accrue and even more difficult to use and impossible to use without threats and being yelled at.
