@Comfortably Numb Agree about Freddy's.  Love that place.  I have one less than 1/2 mile from my house.  I have to resist the temptation daily.

I'm trying to call the ticket office about getting basketball tickets for tonights game at Minny (angling to see if I can get those money seats behind the bench).  Either get a busy tone or put on hold only to be hung up on 15 minutes later due to "heavy call volume"

There's almost no chance of calling the ticket office today.

I have realized that.  I started calling at 8 am when it opened and was put on hold even then.  I didn't know it was spring ticket day.  It was on my "to-do list" yesterday, but I got busy.  Off to stub hub I guess...

In 2012 Woods’ cause of death was changed from accidental to undetermined triggering a cold case team being assigned. The team is trying to get some publicity generated and maybe someone will come forward with information- like Duvall or Walken sharing information with confidants, that may help solve the case. Neither Duvall or Walken will talk to investigators, although it was stated that Walken did share some pertainent information that will remain confidential for now and he is not considered a suspect 

I feel bad for their daughters.

Jim Beam should be good. It's got a nice spicy note and isn't terribly sweet. I used it for a bourbon sauce on burgers and in marinade for pulled pork. It worked really well.

I went with Maker's Mark.  They had a smallish bottle for about $19. I only need a cup.

It smells awful. I think bourbon consumption is mostly based on a dare.

Maker's Mark is pretty good. All whiskeys smell funky, but bourbon taste the best. I could never drink it neat but in an old fashion, Manhattan, or just some ice it's good stuff.

knapplc, maybe start a thread about paid paternal/maternal leave. I think it is an interesting discussion to be had. I don't know how I feel about paid time off that isn't earned and saved.

People need to realize that large corporations do not give a rats ass about their employees and anything they do positive isn't for their employees benefit and there is a negative side to appease shareholders.

So I talked to my wife about this last night, she still has friends stuck at the mart, said that yes minimum is increased but everyone's hours are being slashed and paid time off has been completely redone so that it is very difficult to accrue and even more difficult to use and impossible to use without threats and being yelled at.
