  1. Now I'm really torn... getting all of KW's charges dropped/reduced seems like an abuse of power and not setting the right message, but we need our coach back... Feels very dirty, and that's not how we do things at Nebraska.

I want a participation ribbon. I was the third comment!

It sucks, but anytime you screw up as a public figure like WR coach at a major university, you open yourself up to any and all criticism in the court of public opinion. I think that's what Count was getting at earlier-- we shouldn't protect KW since he did screw up. But we should condemn him either. Let the law work as it should and see if they guy straightens it out.

TTRR - One of the most reasonable people I've heard from on this board. Thank you for at least attempting, unlike most.

Moiraine - this is a democracy. You are responsible for what you vote for, in my eyes. If anyone is on the hook for the "stupid decisions" it is me and others like me. That's the point of a democracy - if anyone should have reason to be upset, feel guilty, etc, it should be those who voted for him.

    3. ColoradoHusk

      ColoradoHusk

The whole "I will support Trump, because I voted for him" seems misguided. All that means is that you are going to support him, no matter what he does. You should be able to change your opinion on someone if his/her behavior warrants it.

Honest question: What makes anyone believe there is a TV market for this stuff? Don't people that love playing video games, love playing actual games, not watching them on TV? Perhaps I'm way off base... Just seems like they would rather play them than watch them.

  7. Everyone needs to chillllllll. We're 7-2, with 4 games to go that we should be favored in at least 3 of. If we win 10 games, it'll be the best season in 14 years.

@Husker I agree. Depth is so important right now. We have none and are building it. One of the problems with our team is we've been stop gapping for years. Burning redshirts to be better for a year instead of taking our lumps. I like that the staff is letting guys develop properly.

    3. alwayshusking

      alwayshusking

Agreed Huskerzoo. This staff isn't just taking jucos either. They want to build with guys they can develop over the course of 4-5 years. They are trying to build this thing right so it can be sustainable.

You're trying to equate an inherent risk with a new risk that is entirely preventable. They are not the same thing.

Look, I wish football would come back, I really do, but we as a country may have screwed that up. All people had to do was follow the rules; wear a mask, distance, and practice good hygiene. That's not happening.

  11. Rewatching the 2013 bowl game with Georgia, and I guess I'm most confused about how we've gotten so much worse since then. SO many players playing in this game as fresh/soph that still start for us now, and we've taken whole strides backwards.

      Danny Bateman

Whoa there AtBone. Gotta agree with Count on this one. This team doesn't have the same amount of talent in 2015 as 2013/2014. We lost our best players on both sides of the ball, both 2nd round picks, and our best receiver to the league as well.

    3. Atbone95

      Atbone95

^ I acknowledged them. Randy and Ameer really hurt, and we saw that. But I don't think this offense is any better this year with Kenny on it than it was with the receivers we had.

    4. Landlord

      Landlord

Atbone, why is that hard for you to accept?

In 2013 we beat Wyoming on a failed "hail mary". We beat Northwestern on a hail mary. We beat Penn State on a field goal in overtime when they missed theirs.

In 2015 we lost to BYU on a hail mary, we lost to Miami in OT, we lost to Wisconsin on a made field goal.

Just a few examples. Bo's teams almost ALWAYS got the close game breaks; an inordinate amount of the time. This year's team had an inorrdin...

The fact that many politicians see fit to crack jokes about WWE and how they've all wanted to do this, coupled with Gianforte's phony apology and his constituents' responses last night, are incredibly troubling. It's normalizing violence from our public officials for basically whatever they deem necessary.

      Danny Bateman

That's what Pac had to do to win: wear down Floyd's defenses to the point where some shots counted, or get lucky and sting him on a few anyway. It was a typical Floyd fight, and Manny just didn't press enough to make it a close fight. Floyd's very good at his brand of fighting, but I was REALLY hoping Manny found a way to pull it off.

    3. ZRod

      ZRod

It was an odd fight for Pac, I haven't seen too many of his fights but he seemed timmed. I know they said he hurt his shoulder, but he didn't seem to show the abandon and flurries he's is famous for. He caught Floyd a couple times but didn't show a killer instinc.

  23. I don't care what you think, I still think we got outcoached. What kind of OC has a weapon like Ameer Abdullah and refuses to use him? Fire Beck on sheer stupidity. And my outcoached moment of the game? The fake field goal. This staff would never try something like that.
