Bball1091
GBR! This is a huge get. He's a a great athlete. His peer recruiting is only an additional benefit. 1 Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
This is HUGE. Absolutely HUGE! Not only do we get him, who I think will be a 5 star by the time he gets onto campus, we have another 4 star WR commit. Also Keyshawn can help get some of his California teammates to come to Nebraska. My only concern is, since he committed so early, any chance he decommits once season starts like so many other top talented players sometimes do? I cant imagine USC, UCLA and the other west coast teams are going to let Keyshawn easily go. Quote Link to comment

Sr. and Jr. have been pretty adamant on shutting down recruiting after his initial announcement - other than peer recruiting players to Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Is that the sound of the flood gates opening? I THINK SO! This 2017 class is going to be a top 10 class in my opinion... Something special is a brewing. Quote Link to comment

Both Sr and Jr and have been very adamant and public with stating that once he commits, he's shutting down his recruiting process and only peer recruiting. If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I would be by a Key Jr decommit. Quote Link to comment

huskerguy
I think last season was a bit eye opening even to Riley for as experienced as he is. The demands of winning at this level and the sense of urgency seems high. We can't lack focus in coaching or players against Purdue or Illinois. If they turn around a couple of those games your looking at a 8-9 win season. Obviously Nebraska isn't light years behind Iowa and if you win the division that's right where we need to be. 1 Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
Just remember if we fire Riley we lose KJJ. Well good news. Unless there is an implosion this year, Riley isn't getting fired. 1 Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
There is every reason to believe that Husker recruiting is headed for much better results. We are making all the effort one can to seek out, contact, and offer the top players around the entire country. It would appear Riley and Co are leaving no stone unturned to find the best possible players for each position on the team. Let's all encourage and be positive. Our first three commits are exciting and we are certainly being considered by any number of other top athletes. The momentum could be tremendous and by the end of the Spring game, we could have as many as 8 or 10 top commits. There could easily be a full blown race by some players to get their commitments in as spots fill up. The chances seem good to me that this could be one of the best classes in decades! GBRFAN
Just remember if we fire Riley we lose KJJ. Since the chance of us firing Riley are close to ZERO then the chance of losing KJJ remains at < 0.00001 Quote Link to comment

Don't know how I didn't know until today she was a Husker alum. My sisters college roommate. She didn't graduate from UNL, just attended. She was at NU for almost 6 years and didn't graduate? She did give me a birthday present-a black doll of some sort. She and my sister were very disappointed that I didn't notice that it was different. Quote Link to comment
