Martinez is not a pocket passer,  get that kid moving and creating

Love the RPO sprinkle we saw, need more

O-Line  still needs tons of work...

Offense seemed to run smother with smothers in, seems like he made quicker decisions, maybe the tempo fordhams tempo had slowed down by then.

CTB not only shouldn't return punts, but clark replaced him real well at corner.  sorry, just dont think CTB is a smart player.

Correct me if im wrong but ZERO kick off yrds allowed over 2 games...  Ill take that....

JMHO...

I really didn’t learn anything from this game except that Toure is our best receiver since Morgan and he is AM’s favorite target.

I did learn this week that every year there seems to be more parity in college football. Montana beating Washington. Tulane giving Oklahoma a game this week but watch OU blow out whoever they play next week. Losing to Illinois sucked, and quite honestly I still don’t feel great about this team moving forward. But the fact is there’s very few gimme’s anymore and when you play poorly like we did at Illinois and they happen to play a clean game you’re going to lose. You can’t give up on your coach after one game.

Also if there is one juggernaut team I’d want to play for a huge upset, it’s Oklahoma. They’re fast but I don’t think they’ll overpower us and they always choke at least once if not twice a year!

Not sure it was that great at all

We DIDNT move the line of scrimmage at all early.  Fordham just ran out of gas thanks to depth. We should have been able to move the ball up and down the field at will on the ground- we didnt. DOMINATE on the ground. Every play.

No pass rush from us at all.

We flubbed 2 punt returns. PLEASE for the love of all things that are holy- don't let CTB return kicks. Yes, great kid, that isnt how we decide WHO PLAYS

At this point it's like the QB on the little league team who throws interceptions all the time- and his dad is the coach.

Liked the deep kickoffs- big improvement

PATs- FG- punting better

Still not enough separation on our passing plays. Fordham had people open big early.

Tourre is who I thought he would be. Stepp too- hope he can stay healthy.

Martinez played ok- no fumbles or interceptions is a good start. Still holding onto the ball too long.

Glad Smothers got in, as advertised, quick feet.

Tackled fairly well.

Yant moves the pile- but it was late against a winded defense

Upset with the start of that game, slow starts seem to take them off course, according to recent quotes.

The triple option wrinkle is pretty nice, AM runs the option really well and hope to see this evolve.

AM is a greedy passer, he stared down multiple open targets to look for more. That double/triple clutch pass to Manning on the top sideline (going right to left), just get rid of the ball and allow your WRs to a make a play.

That stud LB for Fordham maybe saved a score or a two with his performance alone.

Overall, they made plays when they needed to make plays and they achieved expectations, which has been rare and a reason for optimism heading into next week. Keep their heads down, grind out another week of practice, and take care of business next week.

It’s Fordham. What was there to learn?

Illinois just got beat by UTSA.

UCLA just beat the pants off LSU and they only threw the ball 16 times.

What I learned is that until Nebraska becomes PHYSICAL….it’s not going to happen the way we want it to.

Or the way the team, staff and Admn want to......

Really nice job thus far with the kickoff specialists.  Think they were 100% on touchbacks which was nice.

Martin being out forced CTB into the punt return spot and we all saw had happened.   You absolutely can't have CTB out there anymore because he's had two straight games with blunders and he's going to look to force things in order to 'make up' for previous weeks which will most likely result in disaster.  I hate to say it but Nebraska needs to go full Santino Panico and just get a guy who can catch it every time.

Nice option wrinkles, they'll have to mix up those looks down the road

Seeing some poo poo'ing with Illinois losing to UTSA.  UTSA is a really good G5 school who is going to win at least 9 games this year.  Doesn't excuse Nebraska's performance or anything, but it shouldn't be a total shocker that UTSA got the win.

We won-Something I will always take regardless the opponent

Team seemed to have fun-Play like that even when you get down a score or 2

Toure is legit-Need to find another threat quick or he will be covered better than hashbrowns at the Waffle House

I did like to see Frost's family on the field....

A lot of crazy football this weekend as mentioned.
