When my son was 15 (five years ago) he'd been watching the gaming world pretty intently and believed AMD's new processors were going to be a hit with developers. I know Raiola's team came back and won bc that is what my brother told me but what were his final stats for the game? My brother wasn't really impressed with Raiola and how he performed in the game from what he told me. Said he threw a pick in the game as well. I know he is playing against good competition bc it's a all star game but I'm not looking too deep into it considering some starters didn't have time to practice and showed up mid week to play. Just trying to get a understanding on how he played out there other then just my brother who I don't fully trust on his judgement.

I think my biggest concern, assuming we have decent QB play now, is end of game management. I felt that was pretty bad at times, even though we had a lot of practice at it. But one thing that fixes/hides that is scoring more points and being in fewer one score games.

Sure. Everyone would be better with a Trey Palmer or two. But the notion that Hendrick Haarberg or Jeff Sims would have thrown to Trey Palmer just as well as Casey Thompson did doesn't feel right. Chubba Purdy struggled playing with the exact same team Thompson had. We essentially swapped Thompson for Sims, and however defensible the move was at the time, it's hard not to picture Thompson outplaying Jeff Sims. Turns out almost any quarterback could have outplayed Jeff Sims. Casey's injuries might have made it moot, and has poor subsequent stats suggest he was never destined for greatness, but thinking him the better QB than the three on the '23 roster isn't a radical take.

20-8 since last February...it's still wild people get in their feelings so much when we lose. We have been pretty darn good for nearly a calendar year. For a program that is historically been hot garbage (except for a season here and there), maybe just enjoy the ride a bit. We lose games we shouldn't...for sure, but we also win games we shouldn't haha. We have a pretty good team...it is ok to be happy

I haven't watched the Huskers in a few years. I have watched the Iowa dual and watched last nights dual this morning. It didn't get all of Allred's match or heavyweight. We still seem to lack the aggressiveness of a PSU or Iowa. We only seem to put 1 or 2 moves together where teams like PSU and Iowa are able to string more moves together. It has been that way for years. I always wonder if it is coaching or S&C. I guess the real answer is probably both. Looking at team rankings, Missouri? Really? I looked at their schedule. They have dominated everyone, but have not wrestled against the Big 10 elite in a dual.

Rhule‘s son-of-a-preacher-man background was ripe for a town/school like Baylor. If Rhule is the man, I really hope the culture in Lincoln is strong enough to keep Rhule around through retirement because this state needs another positive uplifting coach, kind of like John Cook. Don’t need the anger of Bo, the knock off version of Mr Rogers, or the immaturity of Frost. Rhule and his staff will make more mistakes but I have a good feeling he learns from them and adjusts. Outside of winning and winning something big, what else can one ask for.

I cut a pork shoulder into long strips, and add about 2lbs of pork belly per 10lbs of shoulder. Spices are salt, pepper, fennel, red pepper flakes, oregano and nutmeg. Fresh garlic & red wine vinegar. Grind all the meat into hamburger (basically), then mix the spices with the meat in 2lb batches until it's sausage. Did that tonight before making pizza. It's pretty amazing.
