They do have long lines and wait times. Which will be another majot obstacle Knap. I haven't looked much into ACA since it was signed, but we all knew the fatal flaw was the lack of control over rising premiuns. The only way tonfix that is regulations, like it or not. Until the price is equal for the same procedure in the same genral area we are going to have issues.

The fact that universities are offering grief counseling to students about the election results is beyond weird. Good lord.

Sorry, wasn't directing that at you per se, just a pet peeve of mine. When I get time to watch TV, I see al these newly named conditions and diseases that have come up with, then they say take this little pill to correct X? But then they list 1,000,000,000 potential reactions to taking the pill, including dying, which causes me to laugh at those who would be in no better shape than they were pror to seeing the ad.

2014 season was the first time since 2004 that Nebraska averaged more yards per game rushing than the Oregon Ducks.

Frosty. His #ThanksTO bit was pretty cool. I love Frost, he was my favorite Husker growing up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwCJuM7eJ4Y

If Fyfe starts and has a monster game...does he start vs Michigan State?

GOP debate candidates BLASTING mainstream media tonight. So awesome. I hate the mainstream media, more than I hate anything.
-
Funny thing is that regardless who becomes president, less than 20% of the American population will have voted for the winning candidate.

I think you guys really nailed it when you said that it's important to care about local and state elections.
Hell, even your Congress member. Take a look at their record. If they're not representing you the way you want, vote for someone else. It blows my mind that Congressional approval is so low and yet the same people continue to just get reelected.

I don't hate Taylor Martinez but I'm pretty glad that, that era is over.

BC wasn't saying that the Taylor Martinez era was getting stale because of Taylor Martinez. He was talking about the hype and BS that swirled around him for four years. A lot of which came from places like HuskerBoard.
For better or worse, Taylor was a HUGE talking point. The team got tired of hearing the same story over and over. And really, who didn't?

Oregon WR Darren Carrington suspended indefinitely from ALL football activities after first offense DUI. Hmm.....

I'm gunna be pissed if this education reform goes through. I'm currently getting loans forgiven for being a teacher. Trumps dumbass plan is going to eliminate that benefit.

Common Core math isn't the way I would teach it, but I also learned the old way of memorizing math facts...I see where they are going, but I think it's completely unnecessary. IMO

If we had Leonard Fournette would Langsdorf only run him 7 times a game?

It is not about production. If that were the case, then no one would be questioning the decision to play Newby over Wilbon or Ozigbo. It is about passing the eye test. When you watch the OL, do you see a consistent push off the ball, athletic bigs that can get into the flats to run block in the screen game, or clean OL play before and after the snap? These are realistic concerns. The OL is a contributing factor to the 2-3 record.

How many rounds have you golfed this spring? I'm at 4. 72 holes

I have a theory. Huskerboard is much more active when the board has an antagonist. (Polo, Jmfb, wifi, etc)

Was sitting at the Aurora/Gretna game tonight in Aurora. One of the coaches sons who is out of high school attends UNL and has/had a football theory course with Tommy Armstrong. Kid said that TA isn't very bright and got a 60% (D-) on a football theory test that this kid got a 100% on. I have reason to trust this kid.

I think we should all have Husker shirts made and put our usernames on the back. Just for Saturdays at the stadium.

I let my wife pluck my eyebrows tonight. Never. Again.

NU’s time messing around by not sending Riley out the door is going to cost them Frost. Forever.

@ZRod Yeah, I realize that but it just isn't an option for them to get it wrong again.
-
@Coach Power'T IF (and it is an outrageous "if") your post about winning out happens, I think I would be happy to keep Riley. Even though his style isn't anything to get excited about, that accomplishment would show a lot of how he can pull a team together and save them from collapse. I don't want to see it used as an excuse, but this is a pretty young team. And if they finish 8-4 with a finish like your post describes, I'd be pretty excited for next year.

oh here we go again, nebraska loses on a national stage and its the "refs fault". Anyone else see the pattern here?
-
Did I break board rules by posting that Huskerboard Tshirt thing? Did not mean to if I did....Ignorant.

Does anyone know of any fun things to do in North and South Carolina?

does a system restore get rid of adware/malware/spyware? Or do I have to get a program to clean it up?
