That game sucked

Had to work that day and I had my student tickets. Was super pissed I couldn't go. Then people kept giving me updates and I was glad I wasn't there. Couldn't believe it...

To be fair, the weather didn't remind me of it anymore the last time I was outside!

Ragnarok was awesome. As was Black Panther. 

Haven't seen Deadpool 2 yet. 

Ragnarok-Hilarious. Loved the opening scene! (I like watching these movies a second time as I miss some of the comments when I watch them initially.)

Deadpool 2-Never saw the first one could care less for the second one.

Black Panther-Fairly entertaining but predictable.  

@Xmas32 I think a lot of people were willing to obscure or overlook some of Black Panther's faults as a story and movie because of some of its themes. As poignant as some of them were, it was still in sort of the B- to B range for me.

@The Dude totally on board about that. Michael B. Jordan's character is the single best part of Black Panther

The movie will bring more attention to the documentary. It already has - I didn't know the documentary existed until the trailer for this movie came out.

I think this basically explains WHY he is opposed to gambling.  Dude's got PTSD.

Sparty needs to get something going with their passing game for sure but that defense looks nasty 

Yeah as long as you play competent offense, Sparty isn’t gonna be a legitimate threat. Zero offense and lots of undisciplined/sloppy play by both sides of the ball again. 

Sparty may have the best defense in the land, but with no offense, they’re going 7-6 again.

David Knevel was the starting right tackle.  Jaimes was was a freshman listed 3rd at left tackle.

I didn't know Burroughs was so plant-based in his choices. We've been doing a lot of that around our house on account of my girlfriend's notions of ethics. Honestly I do feel a lot healthier compared to when I pounded meat 24/7 to bulk up.

That's impressive.  I read a book a long time about about one of the top triathletes in the world.  He was totally vegan and he noticed a positive difference in his performance when he did that with his nutrition.  

Lord help me, I tried my hand at the green smoothie he made. Mine has almond milk, spinach, flax/chia/hemp seeds & quinoa, pea protein powder and a banana.

ED, there always seems to be moments with Riley's teams that NU can put a team away, but don't seem to do it, and let the team right back into the game.  When the D makes a big play and gets an INT in the red zone, the offensive line turns into a sieve and allows a safety.  Then, Arky State comes down and scores on the next drive.  So, NU went from a 10 point lead to a 1 point game.

The questionable holding call on our long run in the 4th was really the difference between putting ASU away and what happened. That's football sometimes.

The back to back holding calls were both sketchy.  On the draw play that would have put us at 3rd and short or something, Conrad just had his hands on the d-linemans shoulder and rode him to the ground.  Definitely no hold.
