Need some good cigar recommendations. Been enjoying Romeo y Julieta Havana Reserves for a while but I need to change it up.

Rocky Patel? Peasant. Go big or go home. God of Fire 2007 Carlito.
I'm just kidding, that's super expensive. Try an Artura Fuente 858 Maduro, Work of Art Maduro, Oliva V, CAO Brasilia, CAO Cameroon, Liga Privada no. 9, T52 and Undercrown. Those are some of my favs, but I can recommend some lighter cigars, like the 5 Vegas Gold and Diesel Unholy c$%ktail (that are also on the cheaper side). Generally you want to get the thinner vitolas, like a lancero, as most of the flavor in a cigar comes from the wrapper (outer leaf). Thus the thinner the cigar, the higher wrapper to binder/filler ratio you get (thus more flavor).

Country music.....hot garbage.

Appreciate your perspective @B.B. Hemingway, but I do take one issue with what you said and I'm not sure if it was your intended meaning - "They rap about the same stuff as they sing about in bro country (which I don't care for either)."
It seems like you're equating all forms of rap with just one apparent sub-genre of country, which gravely undermines the true depth and scope of rap music. It also seems like you're sharing this perspective as someone who only casually happens upon inadvertent anecdotal experiences rather than someone who has authentically attempted to experience the rap genre. Perhaps you've done the latter but, if you had, I'm unsure if you would have phrased the sentence in the way you did. Most of the rap I listen to includes little to none of the stereotypes you mentioned, and it sounds like much of the country you listen to avoids similar nonsense.
Without getting too political, one important aspect of rap is understanding the roots of the genre. It's partially the result of hundreds of years of societal and systemic racism, the fallout from policies, events and procedures that helped breed poverty, drug problems and violence in the black community. There's a lot of literature on the topic, but, I think further discussion of this particular point probably belongs in a P&R thread rather than a status update.

The only country I can tolerate i/e actually seek it out and listen to is usually Merle or Willie just to name a few. There's a few others but I would rather listen to Wham than any sort of new country especially any of that horrible 'bro' country. That sort of 'music' is indeed hot garbage most definitely.

Wandale to Nebraska
Goldschmidt to Cardinals
What a glorious day!

@STL Husker at this point Weaver really was caught in the middle without a spot. Wasn't going to make the rotation with Mikolas, Waino, Wacha, Flaherty, Gomber, and potentially Reyes battling for spots. And I think Hudson, Poncedeleon, and Hicks all get bullpen rolls before he does.

Debate question: Did what UCF did this year diminish what Frost did?

watching them they do not seem as good as last year. I am sure I have some type of bias but all I see are Frosts players a year older. Offensively Heupel is just keeping the same offense going. Personally I do not think Heupel holds a candle to Frost in terms of coaching ability but he hasn't messed it up just yet. Will be interesting to see what it looks like as was mentioned in a previous comment after Frosts speed leaves the program and if it is replaced with equal or better talent.

The B1G West is wide open next year. Let’s hope we see some much needed improvement this offseason cause with our schedule it could be very fun.

Every win for UCF and every loss for Nebraska starts to create the “Frost is overrated” narrative. At this point I’m having a hard time arguing against it...

Yea, Frost built that team and he needs to recruit he's team. UCF didn't go from a loosing program to unbeaten by coincidence where he just happened to be there, thats statistically improbable. They are reaping he's time there atm. Besides, Nebraska's season is just damn downright bizarre, this team could have easily just have had 1-2 losses tops. This week was the ref calls near the end of the game, you rarely see so many borderline calls go one sided as there is almost always a give and take
-
T.O. didn't win the Big 8 until his third year and didn't win a national championship until his 22nd. He then won 3 in 4 years.
When you're unf#cking a team as screwed up in terms of talent, depth & culturally as this one has become, it's going to take some time sailing over very choppy waters before you hit smooth sailing again.

Frost will get us there. Watching the BTN Elite on the 97 team. This man will get us there.

Anyone seeing this Mo Washington rumor?

@Redux Like a rusty trombone...

UCF continues to roll and I only see a few winnable games this year for Nebraska. Rebuilds suck.

Some of you guys are worrying me with your game picks. Losing the first game in the Frost era at home to CU would be brutal.

I Agee. No way that happens. Huskers roll. I’m really not worried. Every single thing we’ve heard since Frost came to town has been positive. I’m on that train until proven otherwise. Hell, even the inept Riley crew almost won two more and Pelini won 9 all the time. Frost is the real deal. We’re in good hands, the bad days are behind us.
-
It would be brutal but taking the long view it is just a bump in the road. Hopefully the players play hard but looking at highlights from our glory years, who do we have on the team that came make those kinds of plays? Frost has proven to be a good coach but so many things to fix in a program that's been broken for so long... one off season isn't much time.

I am failing to see how this game will be as close as people are making it out to be.

Colorado has a couple of wide receiver threats that are legit, one of which is already being talked about for Sunday play, and a solid O-Line (save Center) and D-Line.
Yeah, this could end up being a lot closer than people think, especially if some of our starters get on the field and piss down their leg.

Frost is on CBS radio with Rome now.

Tanner Farmer is extremely well spoken. Hope he has a hell of a senior year.

Wow. I knew Urban was scum, but this is just a whole different level.
-
For anyone wondering what Ziebol is on about. Basically, Urban knew more than he led on about the recent domestic abuse allegations involving the former Ohio St WR coach.

I am not surprised that Urban was lying about his knowledge of this situation. Urban has a deep familiarity with that family and obviously employed and worked closely with the accused @sshat.
