Sounds like coach speak to me......won't be surprised to see Dan Mullen go to Florida.

Not sure if this was posted and how legit it would be, but the article suggests Osborne has contacted Frost.

Osborne probably talks to him all the time.

Probably not cause Osborne would never do that

Thanks...I didn't think it sounded like Osborne either.  With Florida, Tennessee, and Nebraska fans all frantically seeking out a head coach, I am sure there is a lot of click bait out there.

I have been perusing the forums from these other schools, and Tennessee fans are quite active too and have the first couple pages of threads all with posts from today.  It appears some are going to have a meltdown if they hire Greg Schiano.

Yea, osborne isnt the type of guy that strikes me as a begging type.  I think, like i have done in the past.  Contacted my mentors to get there advise on what i should do in career moves.  Im sure he weighted in his opinion because tom knows the fans more than anyone right now.  So im sure he would of gave him his opinion but tom osborne isnt the lord jesus christ and i wish people outside nebraska and media outlets quit thinking that we live and die by his word.  He is a all time great coach and a wonderful human being but if he said the sky was red when it was blue im sure we wouldnt take his word as gospel.

I love the way TO handles these questions. He always honestly says things like "that's all I can say" (meaning, possibly, "for now") or "let's leave it at that", which means "there is a lot more I COULD tell you, but I'm not going to". He's not about self-aggrandizement, but if you don't think his role in all of this has NOT been crucial, you are fooling yourself.

Not sure why Florida fans are so disappointed with landing Mullens? I mean maybe it's because he wasn't their first 2 options, but he seems like a great fit there and when he last coached there they were very successful.

For the life of me I can’t figure out why Mullen would be interested in Florida? He gets paid 4+ million and his only requirement is that he beats Ole Miss once in awhile.
