  1. Andrew Luck tonight is confirming what pretty much everybody has been thinking - he is on the road to becoming one of the NFL's elite QBs very quickly.

Feel bad for RG3 that he had to get stuck with Shanahan

Agreed. He's made matters worse for himself, but it's the coaches job to reel in a young player, especially your franchise quarterback.

  3. Sitting on 4 wins and a recent loss over Georgia Southern, Florida AD publicly supports Will Muschamp as head coach. Yet sitting at 8 wins and 5 previous seasons of 9+ wins and 3 division titles, Nebraska's fan base is divided on the opinion of whether or not to keep Bo Pelini, and the AD has given zero public support. People... It's time to lend your support and look forward to the future of this team because it is indeed bright. Bo isn't going anywhere.

      JJ Husker

So now the threshold is 4 wins with a loss to Georgia Southern? Ok, at least we know where the line is for some people. I might be able to hold that HC job for ten years if that's all that is desired.

    4. HuskerShark

      HuskerShark

JJ, you missed the point on that one. The point is that Muschamp is having a horrendous season and is still receiving support while our coach is still winning games and is not.

  4. It's truly depressing how few people are willing to capitalize on opportunities right in front of them. Americans are so comfortable working a dead end job the rest of their lives that they're unwilling to put in a little extra time and effort to build something truly spectacular and meaningful.

Maybe some people are, like you said, comfortable. It's their perogative. And frankly, none of your business. Theyre free to do what you want. Your ridicule of someone else and what they are comfortable with is unwarranted, and frankly, ridiculous.

JJ, I havent seen it yet. Count, I don't think so. I work a job on a daily basis where it is 100% my business to worry about the motivation of others to succeed.

  5. Dear Lord in the hours before national signing day, we ask for a chance that's fair, a chance to sign all our commits, a chance to do or dare. If we should sign Mackenzie Alexander, let it be by the code, with faith and honor held high. If he should sign elsewhere, let us stand by the road, and cheer as the school that got him goes by. PAGE BY PAGE! Our recruits sign their letters, to play for a team that one day can't be beat! Won't! Be! Beat!

  6. Dan Hoppen ‏@danhoppen 1h John Papuchis named Charles Jackson, LeRoy Alexander, Jonathan Rose and Maliek Collins as guys who could see increased playing time.

Does anyone have any insight into Afalava's absence. It has to be due to not knowing the defense because that guy is a beast and could definitely bring something we're missing out there.

  7. Why is everyone making such a big deal about Yasiel Puig celebrating when he hit that triple? Is he not allowed to get excited on the baseball field?

Watched Puig play two games at coors field. That dude is anything but lackadaisical. He had time to wave to chicks in the stands (which I cringed at) and still catch an insane foul ball. AND almost hit the cycle. Dude is sick. Cocky? Yeah. But he backs it up

    3. EZ-E

  9. So during the spring game when VV and Collins are busting through the line, what reaction do you think will be greater: Excitement at how good our DTs will be this year, or panic about our offensive line?

UCLA is a very inconsistent team: see Stanford games 1 and 2, california, washingston state. When they're good, they're good, when they're not, they are pretty bad.

    3. HuskerNationNick

      HuskerNationNick

Baylor did something we did not do, which worked in their favor, brought pressure and brought it often against Hundley, while having the DE's get to the corner to prevent him from bailing out of the pocket. Great strategy by Baylor, and even better strategy executing on offense. Kind of wish they would have went full throttle all 4 quarters lol.

    4. VectorVictor

      VectorVictor

Our loss was more about inexperienced position coaches and a lack of film more than anything else. While we'll do better next year when they come to Lincoln, UCLA will be better for this.

Which in turn works against them, because he doesn't try to deny anything, is completely transparent, and we continue to learn more and more about his views on politics while the others are doing nothing but trying to attack him. The number one reason I'm going to vote for him is because he understands money and is the best candidate to solve our national debt problem, or at the very least, at least make a dent in it. A close second reason is that he isn't bought. His views are what's best for the country, not just a few donors and special interests.

    3. WoodyHayes1951

      WoodyHayes1951

There is no way to make a dent in that kind of debt that compounds. Paying off the interest every period would be a miracle. Personal debt is the biggest problem with the economy and neither side wants to deal with it.

  24. Just watched the game finally. Wow, Fyfe is bad. We missed TA really bad, and I honestly hope if TA is out again, either Bush or Darlington gets the start. Also, our O-Line is so bad!!! I hope Cavanaugh can get some better players in and coach 'em up, because these guys look atrocious. On defense, the couple of bright spots are Aaron Williams and Dedrick Young. Bright futures there. On offense, gotta love our WR corps. Westy and Morgan are awesome. I hope Carter and Turner nev...

4 interceptions and 2 of them not his fault. Receivers need to hang on. A 3rd might not have been his fault. Almost looked like Westy turned the wrong way and the DB knew the route. With as porous as our O line is I thought Fyfe did well for a first start.

He's not a good offensive line coach. If he was NYJ's offensive line wouldn't have gotten progressively worse while he was there. Not sure why that myth won't die.
