@ladyhawke Don't forget shops like BTN (which is majority owned by Fox). After the current deal is done, I wouldn't be shocked if we have another expansion and then more of the Top Tier games are saved for BTN exclusively (instead of ABC/ESPN or FOX OTA/Sports)--remember, the conference gets more ad revenue from the games that air on their channel compared to Disney/FOX. 

Vector/Victor I predict that in the very near future sports will be ala carte and folks will be able to order whatever they want to watch wherever they are. That will be great for Husker fans who don’t live in the state!

If you live near a Menards , they sell a product called "Snap Stone." The underlayment is already bonded to the tile and they all snap together like legos. Then you use the grout that is made specially for this product. Its a little cheaper and a lot faster than the whole schmeel of laying tile. Only 6 or 8 colors but its a good product and easier for the average homeowner. You'd still need a wet saw however but they can be rented.

If I remember right Snap Stone is made in Omaha.

Did you all see that Marvel just released a new 30-second spot for Endgame and it's legitimately every single major spoiler possible? I know it's been two weeks but I was shocked. Much of the footage was from the last 30-45 minutes of the movie.

The reason I am taking a more guarded approach on my "positivity" is that NU hasn't won back-to-back games under Riley. I wouldn't be surprised if NU loses to Rutgers. My rah-rah attitude needs to see some wins stacked up on each other.

Well yeah, there are always some of those. I figured the bigger problem were those that were immobilized by fear but still venture out. There's plenty here even in Colorado that should just hole up in their basements when the snow/ice hits, cuz they sure don't know how to drive on it.

Ironically I had 2 charges back to back about a month ago on one of my cards in the amount of $1.50.  I closed the account, but do be on the look out for incremental charges, often from the sort of place you "might" have been (tolls, restaurants, etc)

@NM11046 Very good point. They do that to test the proverbial waters and see if you're paying attention, then soak you with a large charge at a later time. 

I've caught a handful of those, partially because I'm very anal when it comes to receipts and finances.

What does "4K assets" mean and is that related to 4K resolution, or just a coincidence?

It means the images and textures used for the vehicles, track, etc. were created in higher detail for a 4K display. Takes up more space in memory (hence the 12 GB of RAM/8 GB usable on the console) and on disk to host these assets, but it looks great.

@huskered17 To be fair, though, the playcalling has been a problem since Riley's first game against BYU in 2015. And Illinois 2015. And Pur-f******-due 2015. 

I'd like to see that defense in a real test before I deem it not a problem. Oregon coasted the 2nd half and I wouldn't exactly classify NIU as a legitimate test of it. I want to think you're right but what I wanted to believe led me to thinking we'd annihilate NIU so I'm going to require concrete proof from here on out.

NIU played pretty conservative after we spotted them a 14 point lead.  They also missed several easy throws that had nothing to do with our defense.  When they actually tried, they scored easily.

I’m in the development and process side of things as a Senior Business Analyst for IT...so while I don’t directly code, I work on project/process/problem management for all the different groups involved with hardware/software deployments, from PCI/SOX compliance, Operations, Marketing, and Tech Support (among others). 

In short, I wear enough hats day to day to start my own haberdashery.

Very familiar with the BA side. There are jobs out there. I suggest looking at a place like Lincoln Financial Group in Omaha. Plenty of contract work out there as well or some full time. Shoot me a message if you want some connections. 

To answer your question there is some work in that realm. Not bubbling over like it is for Developers but I bet if you put your nose to the grindstone you could find something in 2-4 months.
