I wouldn't be heartbroken if we went to the NIT this year. It might feed a hunger for them to improve over the summer and fall and be ready for next year. We'd also get at least two home games and maybe 4. More games to play and maybe a trip to the big lights.

If they are one of the top 4 seeds in the NIT they have home court until Madison Square Garden.

Just wondered how Omaha compares with the suburbs. It seems like when you turn on the tv the folks in Omaha are complaining about how they didn't get their streets plowed. Probably won't mean new announcers, as they work for the Husker Radio Network, not the radio station.

I remember the last time they did it and it wasn't good. The reception was awful. If they keep the same broadcasters it will be ok. I am happy for the other sports. It will be interested to see how long it stays at this station.

Penn State shooting 78% from 3pt certainly helped. I liked what I saw from the Buckeyes even though they lost. They battled back and it took a last second shot for Penn State to win. Considering how the off-season went, they are still playing with house money at this point in the season. 

Actually, the last game of the regular season is against Penn State.  I hope we bet the crap outta them!
