Frost wants NU to succeed and appears to have a good relationship with TA. Hopefully that means clear communication between everyone and a true desire to make the more than likely transition smooth as possible. I just hope a lot of the young talent doesn’t start jumping ship if a coaching change is made. How much will nebraska lose out on because frost is here?? The entire recruiting class right now is MAC level at best 1 Quote Link to comment

I’d hate to see those guys transfer just because they don’t trust the new staff (assuming there will be one). 1 1 Quote Link to comment

lo country
There's been a lot of good names thrown out. I am confident one of them would jump at the chance. No way a coach would do worse than Frost. Grab a guy with a proven track record of winning or building programs. Quote Link to comment
Dansker
This years recruiting class can only be saved by starting a clean slate asap and immediately hire a search committee to vet coaches who may be interested and even those who may be long shots. Money does talk but Frost and his guys didn’t deserve the kind of pay they received. This is buyers remorse. You either gamble with a big name unproven guy (Deion Sanders), or you go after Jon Gruden, Lane Kiffin, some other big names. They may not want to come here but do any of us truly know that as fact??? No. But the bleeding HAS to stop. Quote Link to comment
admo
Sarkisian at Texas is 4-3. He among the biggest coaching names, coming from Bama. What you say bout dat?! 2 Quote Link to comment
The Scarlet Pimpernel
Honestly there’s no one in the current recruiting class who isn’t expendable. Maybe if we hire a guy like Chadwell some of his current recruits will follow him. Quote Link to comment
Jeremy
Calhoun. Monken. We'd get either one for a steal. Or even Brent Thompson at The Citadel. Quote Link to comment
skers83
Jeff Bellar at Norfolk Catholic. Seriously. Could he do worse. Quote Link to comment
RichardHangslow
Optuon 1. Urban. Option 2.Wake me in 4 years when I once again say hire Urban. 1 3 Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
What if we suspended the football program. Send frost to Saban's coaching rehabilitation center and try again with frost in about 4 years. 2 Quote Link to comment

RichardHangslow
I would not be opposed to that. In my absolute dream world Auburn's head coach and entire football staff would find Lincoln to be top shelf and all would want to move here and settle in for the next 25 years Quote Link to comment

Both Calhoun & Monken intrigue me. They have done well at service academies without a wealth of talent. And they are certainly well versed in running the ball which would make a lot of people happy and be a fit for the B1G. 1 Quote Link to comment
