If we pulled the offer and it wasn't due to grades then I'm a bit disappointed in the staff. The kid has been all N and busted his butt to make grades. With that said, I don't like having dead weight on the team if we are getting better players in. Its an odd catch 22.

Too many unknowns to really judge the character of anyone involved in this. Like assuming he has good work ethic bc he took 23 hours. Maybe he took 23 hours bc he wasn't getting it done early in the process. Frost being a cutthroat doesn't fit with him honoring a RB who has torn his 2nd acl in as many seasons (both knees). Supporting Washington, watts, and canty until the last minute last year before camp. I will need more info to make a call on how the coaches handled it, but Tony seems to have handled it with class and best of luck to the young man.

Not saying we don't need that, but I see this comment a lot when we offer WR. Right now we have 3 OL commits and 3 DL commits assuming the news about Bland is true. We also added a graduate transfer DL and put out an offer for another DL to add to the 2 DE we are already after. We're also in on another OL.

Lots of chatter on this all the time by sports pundits, some on the Pac-12 South, but next to none on the worst of them all, the ACC Coastal. I even tried to engage with a few of them and other than the always excellent, Dave Bartoo, they just ignore it. Clemson must be the big orange sun that blinds everyone from looking further at how underwhelming the ACC is this year. ACC Coastal is consistently terrible. Coastal champ Pitt lost to 2-win North Carolina for crying out loud and Virginia lost to Indiana. It would be helpful if Nebraska can help bookend the West with Wisconsin but I have a hard time seeing the West as an abomination. Heck, the SEC East was a trash fire for awhile until UGA elevated their game.

The Illini played the Zags close and had a chance to tie the game with 1 minute left...on a neutral court. The jays gave up 105 points and 65 in the second on their home court. I wouldn't take much from the game vs the Zags... KrumpleJ is horrible and the other center has knees made of pudding. This game, I think, will come down to how the refs call it. I think the skers are going to bump and grind (Like me on the dance floor) and if the refs let it go...NU wins.
