This is completely off topic and it can be moved if need be but this is a serious question and one I'd like a Trump supporter to give an honest answer to. When has Trump ever done anything that promotes the small town Main Street? The Corporate tax cut? Gutting the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau? His pre-presidential real estate dealings in foreign countries where he didn't pay his own contractors, defrauded customers, and employed the illegal immigrants he rails against now. Where does this myth that Donald Trump is for the blue collar worker come from? He represents everything that is not blue collar or Main Street.6 points

Just to add to my last post. Think about this. If a player leaves early, that can negatively affect the team maybe 1 to 2 years. If you get the right coach, that positively affects the team for many years down the road. I'll error on getting the right coach every time even if I lose a few players in doing so.5 points

I disagree, years ago it was pretty obvious that the "news" part of fox news exists to give them a "credibility" they can point to when people point out their propaganda from all their other shows. Now we're finding out that they were doing things like killing stories they didn't want to come out prior to the election too. They are a news organization only so far as it gives them something to shield themselves with and point to in an attempt to prove legitimacy. So they are at least as bad on the news side, assuming all their news employees are duped and stupid into believing they are legitimate news, which is hard to believe. If they know they are running cover for a propaganda network that makes them worse in my mind.4 points

This is how it works in conservative land. If you're a good, faithful soldier and vote the party line one everything (or at least the most visible stuff and the stuff that matters), you'll have a job waiting for you in the conservative ecosystem when you get out of office. Somewhat similar for liberals, but I don't believe the scale of liberal think tanks and MSNBC contributor positions are nearly as large. It's a huge part of the reason you don't see even "principled" conservatives like Paul Ryan buck the president or Fox News much. That would be bad for the brand. Our elected representation is broken largely because Congress members are incentivized to think long term. It's far more lucrative to have a cushy job lined up to support yourself and your family after you get out than take hard votes with your conscience based on what you think is best for people and our country as a whole.2 points

I do not know what is fact or fiction with the potential hiring, but this whole thing about “its a bad look”, that Moos should have acted by extending Miles or firing him after the B10 tournament , is nonsense to me. Since when is it the proper process, letting the tail wag, the dog. Moos was hired to do his job, and from what I have heard, he has been on top of things from day one. Press be damned, it will come out, when Moos is ready.2 points

These troll accounts are all the same. Awful grammar. Missing words. Always brings up Hillary. No facts, just opinion. Expresses outrage over pay-to-play from Clinton but zero concern over the Trump hotels/mar-a-lago. Persecution complex. It's like they're part of a concerted effort to attack moderate thought.2 points

Welcome to P&R MNBigRed. The Uranium One situation as well as all the other hot talking points you repeated have been discussed here at length and debunked with facts. You can search through past topics to see that - not sure that anyone will open up that debate again as it's been well documented to be Right Wing nonsense.2 points

you do know that your info on uranium 1 is false...right?....right? russia didn't get 25% of our uranium...they got mines that could potentially produce 25% of our production if they were actually restarted again. and if they actually do start mining uranium from them....it is illegal to export uranium mined here out of the country. if they mine it they have to sell it to the US government. how does that give russia 25% of our uranium? unless donnie is letting them break U.S. law and export it to russia?2 points

Cutting cable, and thus getting rid of all of those news channels, has been a good thing for me. Forced me to branch out and get my news from more sources than the one or two habitual ones I'd watch. I used to think CNN was fantastic and the criticism of it was unwarranted. After being away from the TV side of it for a while, catching it on at someone else's house shows how much of a train wreck it can be. Seeing it with different eyes is a good thing. Not seeing it at all is better.1 point

I saw a newscast last night on 'adulting' I guess that is the new contemporary word. There is an organization that is teaching millennial how to become adults - how to do the basic everyday things like unplugging a sink and basic around the house stuff or changing a tire to how to look for a job. The story noted that millennial parents are partly to blame (of course) because we (some) were too busy trying to get their kids prepared for college by getting them involved in every sport and school activity that they didn't have time to teach kids the basics of life. No time to really sit down around the dining table to talk about useful, needful things. There is a youtube series of videos on the subject and books written on how to become an adult. adult·ing /əˈdəltiNG,ˈaˌdəltiNG/ noun informal noun: adulting the practice of behaving in a way characteristic of a responsible adult, especially the accomplishment of mundane but necessary tasks.1 point

You're certainly entitle to your opinion, as am I! I know of President Trumps short comings as I am also aware of the Democrat's short comings. I'm willing to have President Trump lead our country back to greatest rather than have the left take it further down the toilet further than it already has. To me if you want more ILLEGAL immigration as opposed to legal immigration (which I'm all for), an economy which is truly growing on the Main Street level as opposed to the New World Order World Economy only, along with all the other far far left cramp that every single Democrat pushes these days I would rather have a grifter that is at least grifting to get what I feel is right and good for our country as opposed to what the left is attempting to sell which I see is total BS! So you see that is where our country is today, and with President Trump in Office, I have a fighter that is standing up for what I believe and not caving to the crap the leftist MSM media pushes! Just keep watching the MSM and you chose to have them run the country and not the people!1 point

I think there's merit in pointing out that this woman, who has been sitting in congress for weeks, is getting more pushback for some pretty innocuous comments than Steve King and a plethora of other racists in congress have gotten in decades.1 point
