You realize EVERY team does this to let the other team celebrate, right? Do you watch championships in other sports?6 points

Dude, give up, you’re embarrassing yourself. We just watched a great match and a great effort by our girls and this…this is what you decide to go on about? Unbelievable.5 points

We have 2 Top 50 transfers already according to 24/7. Everyone freaking out simply isn’t paying attention4 points

He didn’t say that. And you know he didn’t yet still posted what you posted. Why?4 points

And your choice is to support a party that openly talked about subverting an election. Are you going to change your support in light of this? Of course not. You'd rather we all just... move on. You guys are doing to destroy liberal democracy in this country anyway, maybe we should push forward on more pressing issues. Such as: *Jewish people and their hatred of Israel. *Banning CRT in states that don't teach it *If 70 degree days in December is normal.4 points

I’d argue with those improvements NU would have been 10-2, if not 11-1. OSU was a loss, but Oklahoma may have turned out a bit different. Mich, MSU, Purdue, Minn, Illinois, Wisc, and Iowa? No question they’d be wins without poor kicking/punting and offensive turnovers. Of course this makes the huge assumptions other aspects of those games remained the same.4 points
-
So now you're saying everyone would have improved EXCEPT Adrian with an improved O line? The mental gymnastics by some of you are just incredible.4 points

That second set will haunt these girls but they lost to a great team. I only hate it because Wisconsin has owned us in all sports.3 points

So it’s official. God hates the Huskers. He’s telling valuable members of the team to move on. And here I thought all these “downers” were nuts because the “Nebraska” name still means something to some. But if God himself is recommending players leave, we are so F’d!!!3 points

To clarify, this isn't like the basketball tourney where there are 4 of each seed 1-16, there are just 16 seeds total and the rest are un-seeded. We are THE 10 seed, meaning #10 in the country, not one of 4 10 seeds which puts a team around 40th in the country. We had 7 regular season losses, #10 was entirely appropriate. A 10 seed in volleyball is the equivalent of a 3 seed in the basketball tourney.3 points

Stop saying NU WOULD HAVE BEEN 10-2 if all of these things happened. Yes, NU COULD HAVE won a few more games, but it's not like all of these games would have flipped for NU's favor.3 points

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10313053/Covid-19-UK-Wuhan-lab-leak-likely-origin-Covid-MPs-told.html Dr Chan added: 'We know this virus (Covid) has a unique feature, called the furin cleavage site, and without this feature there is no way this would be causing this pandemic. 'A proposals was leaked showing that EcoHealth and the Wuhan Institute of Virology were developing a pipeline for inserting novel furin cleavage sites. So, you find these scientists who said in early 2018 'I'm going to put horns on horses' and at the end of 2019 a unicorn turns up in Wuhan city.'3 points

So the consensus is, for the 2022 season, Huskerboard wants a quarterback that never loses, never fails, doesn’t make any of the same mistakes as our last 12 quarterbacks, injury proof, doesn’t need an offensive line to produce, WRs can be crap because this guy will throw them open. Is that about right?3 points
-
So, NOW we acknowledge the pandemic? As a crutch or defense to s#!tty sportsmanship? We are Nebraska! We are the best sportsmans around...or so we say. We are hypocrites. That's the conclusion. That's the takeaway. Deal with it. We should have won in 4.2 points

This is a great example of a team built on a great foundation. They don’t really have any superstars. They’ll be back next year and will probably be even better. They’re going to be in the mix every year for the foreseeable future.2 points

After that epic 3 1/2 hour match where every point was so important, someone gets our post match reaction (during a pandemic) as the most meaningful thing about about the match? Unreal.2 points

That was a great match, I don’t care what anybody says. Congratulations to Wisconsin on their first Championship. We choked it away in that second set, but that’s how it goes. Only gets better than that if we win.2 points

The CCU-NIU game was pretty decent last night. Went to the New Mexico Bowl one year. Kinda fun Not having the Huskers in the postseason kinda ruins all of it I think2 points

He wouldn't need to increase his own talent as he would actually have help and would play better because of it. He's at K State because he's probably tired of being run over by the blame bus from playing on a crappy team.2 points
-
No, you’re stating this. The TEAM would be better, an individual doesn’t increase their own talent/skill. The flaws that AM possess are why he’s only at KSU and also why he left NU.2 points

We're already to point in the offseason where we complain about offensive linemen not being built like bodybuilders? It's not even January!2 points

Benhart, Piper, and Corcoran all played worse than they did in 2020. One guy I could give a pass on but three? That is poor development on Austin's part IMO. Don't know what to expect from Raiola, but if he's as good as Frost think we see a substantially better line in 22, even without Cam. Think with Teddy back Benhart moves inside with Hixson and Piper battling it out at center.2 points

Daniels staying would surprise me, he's done enough to get drafted mid-rounds and he likely makes the team. Thomas is probably an undrafted free-agent that maybe makes a practice-squad, may well just end-up in regular job. Between the schollie and NIL he's looking at a better deal than a regular job, might as well go another season and see if he can raise his draft stock.2 points

This has been bugging me for a long time. Why? What is wrong with those answers? How is reducing your chances of getting covid, getting super sick, being hospitalized and dying not sufficient reason or an acceptable answer for those people? I really don’t get it. Seems to me those people must not be interested in logical, rational and reasonable reasons. So what’s left, what’s it going to take? Do we just write them off as unreachable and unable to be reasoned with? I mean I have but is that all there is.1 point

Ron Brown has been recruiting also. These are temporary titles, that doesn't prove much of anything.1 point

Looks like we added a 2* WR today from New Mexico St, Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda. https://247sports.com/college/nebraska/Article/Nebraska-football-Huskers-land-wide-receiver-target-Isaiah-Garcia-Castaneda--178633261/1 point

I couldn't help but think of this phrase after reading your post Knapp - not sure why A Man Walks into a bar...1 point

They aren't close to the same weight - Wouldn't be shocked if Benhart isn't his listed 330, but there's absolutely no way Teddy was at 305. And even if you take them at face value, 25 lbs is a lot. Teddy has a higher ceiling for sure, that's why he's playing LT. But I don't think Benhart looked out of shape or anything. Heavy feet for sure, but to me that could just as easily be technique and coaching as it could be physical development. Well when was the last time our tackles put their hand on the ground? I don't really see a big difference in OL bodies other than Faalele. Unless you're a mammoth like him or a genetic freak like Tyron Smith in the NFL, you're going to have a gut and some fat arms at 310-330. Teddy looked like a stick but held his own, excited to see what he can do bulked up a bit.1 point
