It's not really Frost's fault there's always going to be a mob of morons who can't recognize an obvious joke and who go out of their way to find a reason to get butthurt. Giving folks the opportunity to misconstrue is what you're doing any time you speak publicly. Maybe we should blame the morons who are doing the misconstruing in the first place.

IIRC, you were among those who discredited -- I think "mocked" was accurate -- Liz Cheney for trying to distance the GOP from Trump. You accused her of seeking attention, too, when in fact she was advocating for the kind of GOP you seem to support. Also, you voted for Donald Trump twice, covering 5 years when he was as bats#!t as anyone in politics, much less the highest seat of power. We do read your posts.

It's completely reasonable to claim - without evidence - that elections were rigged, causing a horde to storm the capital while certifying said election. That's just normal politics. It really doesn't matter. The head coach of a blue blood program making several millions of dollars a year has to have higher social intelligence than giving folks the opportunity to misconstrue something like that. Frost saying something dumb is definitely a better scenario than the alternative of Frost believing in a dangerous unhealthy old-school philosophy of running his players into the ground, but it's still an indictment.

How many have actually listened to the interview with SF, or better yet, watched it. Anyone with half a wit can, one, hear in his voice and laughter, this was coated with pure sarcasm and exaggeration…. and, two, if watching, you can obviously see the smirk and grin as he began and continued his comments. Too bad people love to take the “written” word, with no prior context, and make ignorant statements, like they truly know what’s going on… I always tell my kids, don’t pretend to be smarter than you are, because you will end up looking dumber than you are….

I know you have all been concerned about me. So, update. My brother in law finally realized it’s going to be game day and we are supposed to show up around 11:00 to watch the game. So, all good.

They will be leaving Omaha Monday evening on an Aer Lingus direct charter flight. The flight is about 8 hours plus the 6 hour time difference which should put them arriving in Dublin about 10 am Tuesday. They plan on returning immediately after the game hoping to leave by midnight which should put them back in Omaha somewhere around 2 am Sunday morning.

The point is, you have to know there are morons who will skew everything you say, that's your job. You make 4/5 million per year to be smarter than this. Not the news guy making 50k or the average joe who will always think whatever the hell they want. You don't give them the opportunity. It's called accountability, not blaming others for things you should have done better. That's what I personally want from a Husker head coach and he lacks in that area.

I used to puke every year at the start of summer conditioning. Some years I did it right after our run/sprints. Others I'd make it all the way back from the track to the weight room and as soon as the cold A/C hit me I'd have to run back out and blow chunks. I also puked on oleTom Osborne field during a husker weight lifting camp. They had us run stairs to the top of the old North Stadium and I was a chubby out of shape kid. The oldest kid there was laughing at me and told me Frank was going to be pissed when he heard I puked on his field. Also fun fact: the stairs literally got taller the higher up you went. That was bulls#!t.

Gotta admire what CNN is doing if they do it correctly. I think there is a big market for a news org that truly is down the middle and presents news instead of all the commentary geared towards just one side of the discussion. Good luck to them and o hope they are rewarded with increased viewership!

People who understand economics far better than me have pointed out that pricing for medical procedures and equipment in the U.S. do no follow common models like supply and demand, or semi-socialized economies of scale. It's kind of a wild west of different vendors charging different amounts based on whatever they can get in the moment, shielded by practitioners and patients knowing private insurance or federal assistance will pay for it, and the insurance companies doing little to no negotiating or forensics on what they're being billed. Lobbyists have been successful on both sides of the aisle convincing politicians to convince consumers that this system is worth protecting. Or, at the very least, the health insurance industry will scream and make too much trouble if they're in any way disrupted, probably invoking the word "socialism."

I'd be curious go see a longer timeline on the latter. I'm curious when the last time the majority of Americans thought the country was headed in the right direction. I think I remember reading at some point that Presidential Approval isn't a good indicator of voting preferences elsewhere, but it's another piece of data for the pile I suppose.

This is all psychological warfare from Frost. Nothing slows down a pass rusher like the fear of projectile vomit flying at them.

If it was just this one guy who is a whacko candidate in some random state house election.....that's one thing. Problem is, the Republican party is putting out an amazing crop of candidates just like him. So, it's a national party issue. Not just an issue with just one state local election. This explains it pretty well from one person's perspective. There's more and more people coming to realize this. I honestly can't figure out how anyone can support this party right now.

Of course he's being hyperbolic. Which, shouldn't be a big deal when he's being so obvious about it. But......fans will blow crap like this up bigger than it deserves.
