I have many gay friends, and I do call people out when they direct derogatory statements toward others - I've done it here multiple times. I'm struggling to understand if you're offended that this show two straight men as gay? That it shows two leaders as gay? That gay men should be offended at being put in Trump/Putin category? I'm going to show it to some of my gay friends and see their thoughts.

I'm not offended by the photo. I like the Jerry Seinfeld and others like him, Louis C.K., etc., approach to comedy. I can see why the photo is funny based off of the liberal hatred for Trump. What I've witnessed are liberals being offended by people who make jokes at the expense of a gay stereotype or calling someone gay, and having zero tolerance for that humor or crack. To turn around and use a picture like that to ridicule someone is a double standard.

OL looked like complete garbage, but we have some potential good young guys not playing yet. 2-3 classes translates to at best RS Sophomore because no underclassman has had an opportunity. Even when Tommy did have a chance to complete a pass he overthrew, under threw or was way off target. Half his completions were behind the LOS and even some of those were bad.

We can agree on that. Hopefully the team will take the lead by eliminating some of the costly mistakes. Doesn't seem like it should be that difficult to stop the head shakers.

They were louder than I figured they would be.  I thought the team needed to start well and continue to play well to give them something to cheer about otherwise it would be quiet.  Good for the fans.

It's not easy to watch your favorite team lose on the big stage. I don't exactly remember, but I was pretty inconsolable after the '08 super bowl.

When this team is 10% as good as any of those 90's teams then we can use that as some kind of equivalency. Right now this team is struggling to get out of their own way with stupid penalties. So, when a guy who was suspended last week and ejected from his two previous games......yeah, it's a problem.

It's almost like people want Bubba to fail because he didn't choose to play QB for NU. The dude got over $7 million in his signing bonus. I think we all would have made the same decision.

To be fair everyone complains about their jobs.  Teachers, farmers, cops, doctors, bank tellers, lawyers, soldiers—EVERYONE.  (Even me!)   

I think it’s especially sad how the teachers have had so much power stripped away. I’m not asking for the treatment my parents got from nuns or teachers and spanking them or hitting them rulers (true stories) but it’s sad when teachers get put bad in their place when they show more care for a child than a parent does. My HS baseball coach just stepped down because he couldnt handle the parents anymore. He had to have a meeting with the principal who had the audacity to talk to a varsity coach about kids’ playing time...

Historically I agree with you Nuance, but recent history (15-20 years or so), I think teachers are handcuffed and scapegoated.

I'm not surprised by this at all. Anyone else notice how many things we "thought" we're issues with the last staff are turning out to be right on point.

How are we gauge what issues are "right on point" at this time? In this case, what if Keels doesn't see increase snaps under Riley?

It's not about increased snaps, which by the way wouldn't be hard to surpass considering I don't really remember seeing him at all, but I think the kid just wants to feel like he got a fair shake. If the coaches told him he was doing well enough in practice to see the field on game day, then I don't blame him for being disappointed when it didn't happen.

A real coach puts in whoever has the ability to perform at a higher level regardless of seniority or any such variables. Simply put, Tommy isn't getting it done and if POB can, he should play.
