I don't know if kicking a guy like that warrants a fine in the NFL or not, if it does then fine him. Suspension would be going too far. It's just an awful system IMO. Verbal commitments are absolutely worthless. You can change your mind a million times before signing day. That's got to make it so tough on coaches. Say you need two DT's. You get two good verbals at that position. They both change their mind on signing day. All the sudden, you're screwed.

It won't be the end all solution but I think it's a start. After seeing this game today and having a senior captain of the defense that doesn't seem to give a sh#t, that tells me a lot.

Yes, absolutely it won't hurt. But, I have serious reservations what this staff would do with some actual talent to work with. Have not been impressed with how our coordinators approach games or with how well the motivate the players. Hopefully it really is more on the players than I think.

I definitely think there's some coaching issues as well. But we made Tennessee look like Alabama for 3 qtrs.
