It surprises me that MR and Oregon State would do this.  It's a transparent effort to screw Nebraska out of a few bucks.  I'll be disappointed if NU lawyers don't challenge this.  

@funhusker That's disgusting! I grew in Omaha and attended OPS K-12. I can not remember ever seeing kids at school wearing Hawkeye gear. Different times I guess.

Oh I agree. He has shown a tendency, prior to this season, to not give it a fair chance and then to totally abandon it altogether. I just don't fear it quite as much now with Lee as I did with Armstrong. I think the key here will be his confidence in anybody other than Tre. He seemed to have the tendency to keep trying with Tre. I guess we'll see if that continues with somebody else.

Maybe because we weren't really that close. Sure our record and schedule may have made it seem close but I think in hindsight it's pretty rational to realize we weren't good enough to really be close to anything other than a fluke outcome and being 1 week away from getting absolutely killed, again, in yet another ccg. I sure don't feel like we were close to being good enough to be in that near miss situation. But yeah, strictly based on proximity, I guess it was close.

These last 16 years have me made me extremely averse to nationally televised a$$ whoopings. I'd be perfectly happy if I never saw another one. That's the last thing I want to be close to.

Whem Nebraska was a powerhouse i never felt obligated to be a fanatic.  Nebraska winning was a foregone conclusion, why invest all my interest into it?  It wasn't until we began struggling that I started following it harder.

At this point, Nebraska struggling has become the norm.  Nebraska dominating would be the excitement I have longed for.

Hmm I've heard this before. 

There are tons of other posters that I would rather have a beer with. Most of the best ones I have been lucky enough to actually have a beer with. It's not a completely perfect or direct correlation, but the most respected or most enjoyable posters are the most fun I've had with in person.

I believe Moos said he is a rancher so he gets up early and night games make for a long day.  Hopefully all the night games will be a blowout win for us and he can go to bed early.  I'd like to keep Moos around for a while.

A conference championship is great, no matter what the circumstances. Yes, it took longer than most of us would like, but I'm moving forward. A flameout in the post-season doesn't do anything to lessen a very good season for Erstad's squad.
