Armstrong may also have been experiencing a most extreme case of jet lag and misspoke.  "A man" makes more sense grammatically, of course.

You can simply wear more layers in the winter.  The only ways to escape the oppressive heat is hide indoors or swim.

I was back home quite a few years ago when it was 116 air temp, not sure what the heat index was.  I did a few hours of manual labor outside just to see if it was possible.  Really have to be careful in that kind of weather.

Holy crap...batman.  I had never heard of Costa Sunglasses so I went and looked.  I'll stick with my $15 pair.  I now know they got their name because the Costa mucho.

I've been wearing Oakleys since the mid-90s. I've tried other brands but I always return to Oakley. Of the two you mentioned, I prefer Maui Jim.

Do yourself a favor, get Makita. My Dad sold tools as his livelihood, thats what he sold and used. Now I use them. Great tools and an actual company with great customer service.

I use Milwaukee and Ryobi.  I had a bad Ryobi battery that only took one charge.  Home Depot replaced it with a bigger battery which killed the trimmer. Repairmen said it probably overheated because the bigger battery allowed the trimmer to be ran longer.  No parts available so they shipped me a new trimmer.  The repairmen told me what Toe said as far as manufacturing.  Not much trouble with the Milwaukee tools.

Ryobi user here as well.  Never had an issue and the batteries work with the older stuff as well as long as the voltage is the same.

Power went out right as it was due to come on.  Generator kicked on, but the cable itself didn’t come back on right away.  Hubby not too happy.

Season finale was kind of weak but it left a happy ending which is very unusual with GOT. Would’ve been better had it been a 10 episode season. Can’t judge a whole season by just the finale. Still enjoyed season 8

We have 2 brand knew dodges here at work that have given us problems from day one, metal shavings in the oil and the shifter knob not working.

@NebraskaHarry Me? Not now, no. When I was a kid I would buy old trucks that I thought were priced right, fix a few things on them, maybe drive them for awhile, and then sell them for a profit. It was just a hobby when I was 16-22.... In those 6 or 7 years, I probably owned 20-25 trucks.

Before the 2019 I had a 2013 that I bought new. I traded it in for the 2019 3500 because of all the hauling I was doing. The 1500 wasn't cutting it. Before the 2013 it was a 2005 Silverado..... Before that an 84 GMC Pickup....Before that, the mess I described above.

I bought the 67 C-10 3 years ago. I'll probably keep it for the rest of my life. My dream truck.

Thank you @ZRod. I don't file till the last minute cuz I usually have to send in more money. And if I am due a refund, it just gets applied to next year's estimated taxes.

The problem is that most people use tax refunds as a savings account (some as their only savings). When the refund is unexpectedly less, it hurts.

Ya I think my dad got free tickets so that’s why I’m going cause nobody else would go with him lol. Gonna drive 2 1/2 miles south hopefully to see a win. I don’t get too bent out of shape when the B-ball team loses but would like to see them get the monkey off of their back by winning a tourney game.

They're probably average in terms of cheating.

I didn't have an issue with Belichick for the taping "scandal."  Bill Cowher stated back in 2014 that pretty much everyone does it, the only difference is the Belichick got caught.  As for the PEDs, you don't get as jacked as these guys can get without them.

I get so tired of the "Patriots are cheaters" BS. That organization is just that much better than everyone else. One pro-bowler on that defense and they absolutely shutdown one of the best offenses in the league.

If you have the space, I say go for it. I would if I did. Sounds like you have the potential for a good, dark viewing set up. Like I said, I think intent is the biggest thing here.

What @Enhance said. Projectors are only worth considering these days if you're going to build an actual home theater with no windows or anything, and you're going for a seriously massive screen size. Even then, it's kinda 'TV if you can, projector if you must'.

Next debate: OLED vs quantum dot LED TVs (Samsung QLED, Vizio P-series, etc.). Personally, I'm still not a fan of OLED TVs because while they look amazing when they're new, they get dimmer with time and are prone to burn-in.

Isn't a projecter not as sharp picture wise when compared to say a 4k tv?  We just got one of those Qled Samsung 65 in. 4k's for Christmas.  Love it.

Who runs that house? If you want them speakers to make some noise then turn em up and screw the soundproofing.

Thank you all for the awesome support. She opted out from ringing the bell after her last treatment because she didn’t want to depress all of the other folks going through their treatment especially those who are just starting their battle to fight this awful disease.
