Easier to quit alcohol than, say, cigarettes, or meth.

quitting the cigs for me was a 3 year process, now that was a bitch, Chantix and vodka makes very odd dreams

B12 probly won't have a playoff team this year. Again. For the 2nd time in 3 years. They still haven't won a playoff game. No thanks.

  3. Black Sabbaths first lp came out 50 years ago this week. How any of them are still alive due to the mountain  of cocaine and rivers of booze they consumed is just as amazing as the careers they have had . My sister's friends would be at our house listening to records and I'd sit in the corner looking at album covers, sabbath scared the s#!t out of my 7 year old self and I was hooked .

The first 4 Sabbath albums are the best. "Heaven and Hell" and "Mob Rules" are the 6 best Sabbath albums of all time. I'd even put Heaven and Hell as their 3rd best.

    3. The Dude

      The Dude

Black Sabbath (the song) scared me more than The Exorcist when I was a kid.

I still have Masters of Reality on cassette!

I think I was in my 30's the first time I knowingly heard Sabbath after moving to Phoenix, But my oldest brother had an Alice Cooper lp I made fun of. Loved his Zeppelin though.

Small town life in a town with only one radio station..Had to memorize Styx and Journey songs or hang out at the roller rink and listen to Disco.

I still picture Bette Davis after her stroke whenever I hear Ozzy.

Echo that @commando, leaves or grass. It’s recommended during the fall, but at this point of summer it won’t hurt to re-plant now and begin watering.  @man eating mastodon

I would guess they transplant very well. An old neighbor used to have a ton of them near our lot line and I played hell keeping them from spreading into our yard. They seem like very durable plants. And yes I would steal berries from time to time.....like you wouldn't.

Few people have the soul searching passion for their passion at age 50 that they did at age 20. That's what age and maturity are supposed to do to people. Sadly when it happens in the music world your fans call you out.

My wife and I went to a Cornell acoustic, solo performance 1 1/2 years ago. It was a great night of music. Played some Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog songs, along with some great covers. He will be missed.

My 17 year old also considers his band ''Punk''...So far, the only cover I've been allowed to hear was B52's ''Rock Lobster''.  They just got back from recording session in L.A a couple of months ago...Which is the first time I ever remember hearing their female bass player. (great mix job).

    4. JJ Husker

      JJ Husker

Well yeah......I think it kind of depends on what parts people draw conclusions from and if they’re obviously first game rust or learning curve stuff or if they’re deep structural problems. And I also agree that MSU does not appear very daunting. They’re like most of the B1G, they’ll play a bit above average but not great and are only a problem if you suck and beat yourself. That’s been our problem for far too long.

It's a solid brand of bike. I had one as a beginner's bike, a Buell Blast, 500cc. It was pretty fun and an excellent starter bike. I later purchased a Ducati Monster, 803cc.....rode for a year, fell off going 55mph...went to the hospital, haven't rode since unfortunately.
