They do need to find a way to the hoop and not settle for outside shots. They miss open cutters enough for teams not to respect the cut, but I believe it's more of a mental issue than a Xs and Os problem. Their confidence is practically on suicide watch and they don't know how to handle success

I'd like to see Miles install a fast breaking/secondary break into his game plan. Try and score points outside of the half court. Easy buckets. Put pressure on transition defenses. It also seems like we've been coached to use most or all of the shot clock. And sometimes it looks like we run plays early in the clock to run them and aren't really looking for shots. Maybe trying to shorten the game.

There are hundreds of styles of offenses in basketball that can be effective. Zero percent of them work when you have a poor shooting team. I think Miles knows he has a poor shooting team which is why he's always urging them to drive the ball. Kids fall in love with the 3 pt line. Opposing defenses can play Pettewayspick and roll easily because of the lack of spot up shooters.

Taylor is mentally tougher than Crouch. People forget that Taylor wasn't afraid to get hit his Freshman year. Then he got injured. Instead of letting the injury ruin his chances, he played through it. Not many players can do this, and he played with an injury for 1.5 years, and it is STILL there. Do you see him sitting out a snap? No you don't. That kid gets hit and gets right back up. Crouch had a great o-line protecting him, something Taylor has not had the luxury of since he has be...

... been here. You can bring up Crouch raising a family, but what about Taylor's tough upbringing? Crouch had his family to sit on financially. Juggling a family isn't easy with college, but when you have help like he did, its much easier.

I would give the edge to Taylor on the mental toughness simply because of all the flack he's gotten combined with the fact that he's so far from family. Lots of players would probably transfer after the sophomore season he went through. I respect the guy for toughing it out and improving.

Exaxtly. There is a lot of trafitional power hatred that goes both ways. Even if we did the game early in the season every year it could develop into something special faster than a manufactured Big Ten trophy.

Minnesota last @TCU last year 30-7. Leidner threw 3 interceptions. I expect Minnesota to take the ball out of Leidners hands a little more if he's struggling. They proved they can run the ball.

I don't think turnovers fall on the coach. The coaxh isn't the one making these guys careless with the ball. The other part I've pretty much partially agreed with. If I'm the coach, the next guy that gets the ball one on one in the paint and kicks the ball back out to the perimeter takes a seat on the bench. I think Miles has told these guys to get more agressive though, they aren't doing it. They've got to create shots underneath and draw contact.

I don't think it's a lack of talent either. (except with Rivers and Pitchford). You can be talented and not make shots though. These guys aren't making anything. So like I said, I agree with you. But still what is Mikes supposed to do? These guys should be able to put the ball in the hoop. The shots are there.

One things KILLING us this year is no 3rd scorer. Pitchford is really hurting us this year by not being able to throw it in the ocean. His scoring is what sparked us last year. We weren't doing well last year either until he got rolling. He isn't doing it this year and nobody else seems to be able to be that guy either.

One other piece of advice, the time of year greatly impacts price.  Fall (aka Hurricane Season) is the cheapest, where as winter through spring is more expensive.  Also, we will always fly down to the port a day early, because you never know what will happen with weather/mechanical issues and the ship ain't waiting for you.

@Red Five Thanks for all the great information. We are looking at RC and Norwegian. At this point I think we are targeting more the east side/ leave from Ft Lauderdale and then cruise down and back--5 days. We have done the all inclusive which are fun but we want to try something different. No idea if a Cruise is for us but worth a shot. We are targeting end of April.
