Don't bring that name up during a recruiting flip discussion9 points
-
Its embarrassing people jump to the conclusion that this is about money. It's his hometown school, 30 minutes away from him with a lot of friends and family there. The same people who say this has to do with $$$ are the same that would take this kid in a second.9 points

If the story is true, and Frost told that guy to " go **** himself".... Well that's just bad a$$, and makes me appreciate Frost even more..... The only thing that would make it better is if Frost spit a little dip in an empty water bottle before he said it.5 points

Might I remind the both of you that you're arguing over a high school kid's twitter page.5 points

I have been critical at times with this coaching staff and their ability to get the players needed to win championships. What I will say is that they have shown no tendency to go all in on a player to the detriment of the recruiting class or the team. The last 2 coaches did that. A lot. If Robinson decides he’s better off elsewhere, I am confident the coaches have options.5 points

Not as embarrassing as twitter will be after he picks Kentucky...5 points

This player doesn’t make or break the recruiting class.5 points

This video was so interesting to watch! I'm so estatic to have Dave in the program. His knowledge is going to help us become relevant again in college football.4 points

Until NCAA does something about SEC schools paying players nothing will change. Ole Miss got caught on national television on draft night and the NCAA slapped their wrist? The NCAA is a joke4 points

1. It’s Jim Rose 2. He got a call from someone he didn’t even know? How is that even remotely reliable? 3. It’s Jim Rose4 points

What's embarrassing is you think that crackpot Jim Rose is a reliable source. I am thoroughly enjoying your meltdown on your first year of following recruiting. Reminds me of myself when I was immature and believed everything I read on the interweb.4 points

Here’s something encouraging: we will still field a football team with, or without, Wandale Robinson.4 points

That he is a kid with a hometown school who is doing well this year who is making them a number one priority. Close to friends and family. That the idea of being a hometown hero is enticing and that he will be a celebrity there, but sure jump to the conclusion that money was involved. Also if he is getting paid, then why would you want a kid like that? Fans just always look for a reason to drag a kid when they don't commit and this one is idiotic.4 points
-
Pretty sure everyone would take this kid in a second whether they think he is going to kentucky because of money or not. It is being reported that something happened yesterday that changed his mind. What do you suppose that major revelation was? Also lets not be naive. Just look at the news scandals everywhere involved paying players to come to their school. If you think its isolated to basketball your wrong. It doesnt mean he is getting paid to come there. But I wont rule out anything. I think one of the biggest factors for his decision was an explosive offense. Kentucky is horrible.4 points

2 years into the trump administration and now we have a border invasion. 2 years of trump, 2 years of republican controlled congress and senate, and republican dominated judicial system....and it's the dems fault. i wonder when donnie and the republicans will take the blame for their screw ups?3 points

Too bad ole miss got their sanctions removed today lol... ncaa is a joke tbh3 points

"Wandale...come to Kentucky..be close to home. Help restore Kentucky football to the glory days of occasional 8 win seasons and climbing to sixth or seventh place in the SEC. And always remember, despite your sure success, you'll always be paid less than and play second fiddle to the basketball team! Deal!?"3 points

Its funny because when Obama was president we had mixed opinions, a lot of the same people you call liberals on this board are conservatives. I guess we all just agree Trump is a terrible president and human being and when the GOP elects a decent president you will see those same people in agreement with republicans most of the time.3 points

This should end the “Don’t jump to conclusions” folks debate: On Jim Rose radio show this morning: "Rose said that he got a call from someone in the Robinson camp that he didn't even know. That Scott was asked if we could match their (Kentuckys) offer. Rose then said that was the end of our pursuit of Robinson."3 points

Gotcha so let me follow your logic, a " Husker Insider" hinted towards a scenario that involves the University of Kentucky giving a kid money and some how that information is so openly available that an "insider" from the University of Nebraska knows about it. And you believe that?3 points

This, also, is a gimmick. Let's say this caravan is a real legitimate threat. They're on foot. They're 1,000 miles away. So if they walk 25 miles a day, which would be a pretty impressive feat considering there are elderly/sick/children in the group, they'd get here in....40 days. Hardly an immediately pressing threat. So we have an unprecedented activation of active troops, the largest of its kind in the last 100 years of non-war time, mobilized well over a month in advance to prepare for a conflict with about the same number (and by the time they get here, likely much less) of mostly unarmed, mostly exhausted, also probably mostly poor Central/Southern Americans looking for asylum. We also have the President repeatedly offering baseless claims of the nature of the caravan that have zero evidence whatsoever. That seems at least marginally excessive and unnecessary as an actual precaution, but seems pretty useful as a stunt to galvanize voters who are fearful of illegals.2 points

While it would stink to lose Robinson to UK, Nebraska was able to secure Benhart earlier this week and Wright. Deep down if you asked me to pick one between Benhart and Robinson...I'd pick Benhart just for pure need and there seem to be alot more guys like Robinson then Benhart.. Proximity helped us to land him and hurt us with Robinson.2 points

I want him to lose more than anyone else in this entire election. If he loses it will be despite his blatant cheating.2 points

I was going to ask this regardless of the outcome today. 247 has Wandale as the #4 APB, and the #5 you ask? Nebraska-commit Ronald Thompkins. So, my question is how do you compare Wandale and Ronald, and what do you project their roles would be in a Nebraska Frost/Walters offense.2 points
