I put his post in this thread because it's sexist. And it has nothing to do with soccer, but rather that he was ok watching the World Cup until he found out it was the Women's World Cup. I understand teach was trying to be funny, but he was just sexist instead. See, we're all supposed to laugh because girls were playing.

Don't know where this is coming from, but Bolt has already been a successful head coach at a lower division and spent a number of years as an assistant coach in Nebraska and aTm...not to mention he's a former DVH player. Bolt has a body of work as a coach that Erstad didn't. This is a good hire...plus look at the success that coaches with similar resumes have produced lately. Yes, Bolt needs to get big assistants, though I would have zero problems with keeping Silva on to help Bolt figure out the lay of the land and handle pitching. I'm curious/concerned that Moos didn't open up the purse strings for this hire, though, as I figured a $1m annual salary would have gotten Childress out of aTm.

Host’s provided number is “disconnected.” Call Airbnb who says they’ll look into it and have a manager follow up, but says to work it out with host. Host contacts you 45 minutes later saying they can no longer hold the reservation. They won’t cancel the reservation on Airbnb, which would refund us. No word from Airbnb, call them the next day, same routine of “marked this case for high priority,” but still no follow up. Airbnb host, after several exchanges and refusing to “cancel” reservation, forwards funds via PayPal. 9 days after initial contact, Airbnb finally contacts us, cancels the reservation and fully refunds us. Host wants their money back which was sent via PayPal. What would you do?

I think it's fine to call it controversial but I agree that it was the right call. As soon as I saw the first replay I knew they'd put one second back on. Nebraska benefitted from the same thing at the end of the 1994 Orange Bowl. The sad thing is the Texas game never should have gotten to that point. We gave them a bunch of free yards with the kickoff out-of-bounds, a horsecollar tackle and one other penalty. Otherwise they wouldn't have been anywhere close to being able to kick a field goal.

@knapplc What's supposed to be the thing to watch is that Oklahoma's third-tier media rights expire in 2022, and a new post-2022 deal is supposed to be announced next year. Supposedly Fox Sports is going in hard on that deal to help ease OU's path into the Big Ten and BTN. Supposedly.
