Throwing down the gauntlet as it pertains to "bold" predictions. Nebraska wins the West with an 8-1 conference record (11-1), with a loss to Ohio State. Iowa is second, with losses to Michigan, Penn State and Nebraska. Wiscy finishes third with a 4-5 conference record, with losses to Michigan, Sparty, Ohio State, Iowa and Nebraska. Northwestern finishes fourth with a 4-5 conference record, with losses to Sparty, Wiscy, Nebraska, OSU and Iowa. Michigan wins the East with a 9-0 record, going undefeated in the regular season. Ohio State finishes second, with their lone loss to Michigan. Penn State finishes 10-2 but only 7-2 in conference, losing to Michigan & Ohio State. Sparty finishes fourth with a very respectable 9-3, with their only losses to Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan. Michigan wins The Game to close out the regular season, preventing Nebraska from having to face Ohio State twice. Nebraska beats Michigan to win the Big Ten Championship in Frost's 2nd year.

I have been watching a ton of tape over the last few months. I think calling Nebraska's D horrible or abysmal is a gross overstatement, and it doesn't really explain why we lost 8 games. Despite not having a true nose, good safeties, and starting the best catch tackler/ most underwhelming 4 year starter in Nebraska history (D.Young); they didn't get a ton of help from the Offense when it mattered. Our Offense was so boom or bust, but mostly bust. There are so many quarters where the Offense did not put up points. If Nebraska is able to just eliminate scoreless halves and quarters, it changes everything. Let alone a decent jump on D would make Nebraska more than formidable. They could contend for the conference rather easily.

Not confident at all. I'm reading the polls about all the Democrat candidates with double digit leads over Trump, and his supposedly eroding support among Republicans. And I still wouldn't bet on Trump losing. I think everyone's radar was broken in 2016. The problem is that most of the "info" on this board IS correct, and none of it is a shock anymore. America willingly elected a race-baiting nationalist and vindictive con man in 2016, and his core supporters have never wavered even as Trump got worse. Can't blame Fake News or Huskerboard bias. I usually don't mind mediocre announce teams as long as the camera work allows me to adequately see the action on the field (which is not always a given when we have the scrub crew).
