Minnesota ended up winning 92-79. UNO played really well though. They are going to win a lot of games in their conference.

I have been shocked at how well UNO has done in D1 already. They started off horribly last year, but found something late in the season and are still riding it.

I didn't even notice the voting for huskers portion of the news. Nothing to see here besides my lack of reading.

He is unable to vote for Nebraska because he is still technically receiving money from the university. The same goes for other committee members and thier universities.

Shields is a good pitcher. Not elite, but an innings eater. Hopefully Ventura can take another big step.

If UNO and Creighton both would have made the dance, imagine the weeping and gnashing of teeth throughout the rest of the state when UNL doesn't.

I'm really thinking about making it a priority to enjoy the Mavs more next year.  Like you  said, they are relatively inexpensive to watch and makes for a fun family outing.  When I mentioned this to my wife she started to laugh at me because I always make fun of Creighton fans that also cheer for UNL.  I think it's different, she doesn't.  I think I'm right....

We have played Creighton in basketball every season. UNO just became post-season eligible four seasons ago, and it definitely is different. I feel it is too. @funhusker

I'd like to see softball as a sub-forum of baseball, and the same for WBB as a sub of basketball.

Very disappointing.  Here it is, the second most popular sport at Nebraska and its relegated to a sub forum.  Meanwhile, we have baseball that is struggling to be a decent program and much lower following with fans have it's own forum.

That should change.

Baseball and Softball can be combined as subforums.  Have Volleyball by itself.
