English, especially American English & related slang, is heavily slanted toward laziness. We have many contractions, not to mention phrases that mean entire thoughts. "Gate" is just another shortcut. It may be called lazy, but it's in keeping with past practices.

I never fully understood the desire to yell at stuff, but last game I went to a game (5A HS state championship Football game at the newer stadium that the AZ cardinals play at)...Almost 82% of the people in the stands were texting the whole game.

He won't be a 4-3 DE in the NFL so we have no clue how the hell he is going to do. He will be a pass rush specialist and imo, will be what most people thought Dion Jordan would be. He has great technique, good use of his hands, deceptive strength and his first step off the line is quick. If he wasn't getting eaten alive by double and triple teams/injured, he would've had a huge year. Maliek Collins benefited from Gregory being schemed out.

This doesn't surprise me. I have lots of family in MS and have been there many times. That said things are rural and segregated generally. There are very rough parts and nice parts alike. I don't mind it.

Our DL got whooped against Wisconsin. That has not really been true all season. What has been true all season is the issues we have at LB. So like the game against Wisconsin, if our DL gets dominated, no way our LBs are going to make up for that deficiency. Since our LB play has gone downhill the past 2-3 seasons, I'd think we might make a coaching change. I read one article suggesting Pelini try to bring Ekeler back. Either way, our LB and our OL are the two position groups hurting...
