What is this all about?

Zach Smith, former WR coach at Ohio State got fired.  He had this stupid Zone 6 thing he did.  He and Keith Williams fired some shots at each other via social media and we all had a good laugh.

I was missing the zone 6 thing that connected this to Zach Smith, thanks.

I was 17 in ‘96 and still remember things around that game like it yesterday.  I remember what friends house I watched it at and who I was sitting next to.  It was the most surreal thing seeing us be incompetent like that after the past 3 years.

Trust me, I didn’t want to be reminded. But it popped up on Twitter feed as a “this day in college football history” or something.  So I figured I’d share my misery with everyone else.

It makes me wonder just how terrible his back up is at blocking.

Meh, his blocking has gotten a lot better. He did a decent job against OSU last week from what I remember. The snaps though, it's not that hard to get right. I think he's just trying to get it back there too fast. It's more a finesse movement than a power movement. The speed comes from being smooth.

I'm surprised we haven't tried dead ball snaps yet.

For a low yearly fee, you too can get a useable website again.

Sonos is fantastic. While I don’t own one, an old roommate did and I enjoyed it. It’s my goal to have a system in my house someday. 

I have a Sonos beam as my soundbar in my living room and love it.  

Love Sonos. Have a sub, playbar and a couple ones. Hits hard. Connect Spotify, control everything with your phone....its awesome. Going to get a beam for upstairs soon.

@ZRod no, but OTOH, the team that went to Ann Arbor wasn't the one that played at Columbus, at least from a mental standpoint. 

Or were you trying to turn this thread into a referendum on firing Chinander because of how much we gave up to Michigan? If so, I'm sorry, I've been mostly away the past week or so and I'm not exactly sure where everyone's personal agendas lie now.

Sorry but I've gotta disagree. My stepson lives there and I dread every time we go. The people act like they're so "enlightened" and modern that we're all just backwards people living in the Stone Ages. "OMG - you don't have Torchy's Tacos? How do you survive?"

Gave up 334 rushing at 7.8 yards per carry. One dude went 23 for 256.  Wonder how many were off jet sweeps?

@huKSerUSC already looks stupid, 1 for losing their new OC in less than a month and 2nd for the way Swann handled the whole thing by blocking interviews like a scorned ex gf.

This is an epic case of failing upward.

Guys--this is the FBI looking into this s**t, not the NCAA. Last time I checked PMITA prison isn't something the NCAA can hand down as punishment, and people are already singing to them. This is gonna get big, it's gonna take big names (like Izzo) down, and we're probably gonna see a lot of the top tier talent immediately up and leave NCAA Basketball overnight for the the pros. 

The upside to all this is that since our guys weren't projected to be top-tier NBA talent just yet, none of them have been on the dole. This means when Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan, and/or Purdue lose their talent, we'll be projected to be one of the top teams in the B1G next season!

@VectorVictor, I know the FBI is investigating but the NCAA will react to it and deal with the schools listed in the report. Judging the list of schools and names involved, the NCAA won't do much.

Why are you lumping in Ohio State, Michigan, and Purdue in this. I haven't seen any of those schools or coaches implicated. If this were football, I would be a little more worried for schools like OSU and Michigan. 

Because the list pretty much had just about all of the first few rounds of draft picks for the NBA on it, and those teams likely have at least one key player that is a high-round draft pick this year.

That would be jacked up if he leaves. He just signed a big class.

Maybe. Either he was completely absorbed in the early signing period or polishing up his resume for the NFL because he certainly was not preparing his team for their bowl game.
