@MLB 51 From what I've seen with stain is you can build more depth of color, do veins etc. I want to make it look like granite or natural stone. Got 5 different stain colors. Going to put some mica flakes in the epoxy, do a few dark veins. Imma go crazy.

@Comfortably Numb, I highly recommend doing some trial runs/tests on scrap concrete. Sometimes the big box stores will have some broken blocks they'll give you.

I poured 3 extra 10" circles to practice staining. Had a fourth one but had to dig into it to finish the table top 

I love liver and onions... one of my favorite meals. Soak it in milk for a few hours first and it takes out the "gamey" taste.

Yep, that's how I do it also. Soak it in milk, light flour breading, and fry it......when my wife isn't home cuz she can't stand the smell of it. That's why I usually get it if it's on the menu when we eat out.

The liver I get, but I don’t think human bodies are suppose to have onions. Glad they are in good health though.

I would argue that Colorado has the 2nd best QB we will see all season behind what Haskins has done vs. very pedestrian competition early. Team wise I would put them behind OSU, Wiscy, and Michigan for sure. After that it's most likely a toss up. 

I would put Colorado tied with Northwestern, behind Wisconsin, Iowa and the Huskers in the West (alone).  If our QB doesn't go down we capitalize on the lead and finish them off with a sound victory.  They are an upcoming team, with some pretty good talent.  Overall, they are basically a 6-6 squad that now has momentum while fooling a bunch of people's opinions obviously. 

Also, their secondary could have been picked on a lot more than it was and exposed for a few more touchdowns, but whatever.

@knapplc It's only happened to me at the downtown location during prime dinner hours (5:00-8:00) when I've been with a party of 6+. 

It happened after my wife and I. We didn't even realize we had been waiting all that long. Great cherry on top of our trip moment.

Also had Honest Abe's for the first time. Would've been awesome if they had not over cooked my burger patty. Still pretty tasty though. 

Put good tequila in glass. Sip. Repeat.

Here's what I came up with and they were pretty good.

6 oz Tequila

2 oz Triple Sec

4 oz Frozen Limeade Concentrate

8 oz Frozen Sliced Strawberries

Put all that in blender then fill with ice.

Also made some with Frozen blueberries. Had to add some Agave Nectar (2-3 TBS) to the blueberry because they weren't sweet enough.

Wanted to make some plain lime ones (or coconut) and then layer them red, white & blue but it was a bit too hot out and I knew they wouldn't layer well without slightly freezing them first and I wasn't that ambitious.

I did get a bottle of Cabo Wabo Anejo. Liked it a lot plain....very smooth. And no, I didn't waste it on the frozen margs.

Considering we have (possibly) 3 ranked teams left on our schedule, Wisconsin, Minnesota and a top 10 OSU, I'd be surprised if we were left out at the end of the season IF that were to happen. The meat of our schedule is ahead of us. I'd be more concerned if we stayed around 15 after we win @Wiscy. I assume a win (our first top 25 of the year) @Wiscy puts us at 10 or so.

The problem is, Wiscy, Minny, & Iowa ARE the meat of our schedule. Beating all three of them soundly is not going to impress this committee. These past two rankings show us what they value and those 3 don't/won't/can't have the "pizazz".

Casino isn't bad. Funnybone is solid. Go downtown and scope out the bar scene. Have to look and see what's going on the 17th as far as the Quest center or Orpheum.

I can be the stunt c$%k if beanman goes flaccid. Also, tell them to go to Grey Plume for dinner, that place is perfect when it's cold. Also, looks like Omaha Symphony might be playing at Holland.

Hey I don't blame him for taking the money. My post was more to say that, other than his paycheck, not much will change for him in the meaningful wins category. And I doubt if Miami gets their money's worth out of him. If they don't instantly jump to perennial conference contender (which they won't), it's a bust imo.
