@Saunders I think I'm picking up what you were getting at now. I think The Athletic and the OWH are incomparable from a business standpoint. The Athletic is purely an online experience and, although they try to place people in local markets, they're a national brand. The OWH still delivers newspapers to tons of people still and have a lot fixed costs associated with that including print, production, delivery, management, carriers, etc.

I'm sure they also have a lot of advertisers that want to get in front of their audience. So, it's just different business models. But, like I said, their online subscriber program gets rid of ads almost entirely.

Hmm, I swear I saw ads when I did the trial last year, and I was shocked. Maybe they fixed it. Still, the price is quite high for what it is.

Both teams, its hard to know what your going to get. Georgia hasn't faced anyone legit, with a good defense without Murray. We have and due to some ball security issues, we sh#t our pants. Fix that, we win.

Yes. I wasn't happy with some of what I saw either. But some were just waiting to pounce from the bushes at the first sign of anything that wasn't perfect. People tend to forget that there is usually another team also trying to win the game. We're just not too used to the other team having a pulse.

I didn't say abandon it. We aren't doing anything that a bunch of other teams don't do. The pressure is on the DB's. These players need to get better. I agree, think we've got some talent back there, but this is the first time they've been challenged to play in coverages like this without help. They've got to improve. I don't think Banker is going to change much. Like I said, other teams do this same thing.

I think it's a half hearted gesture. It will be hard to find folks for that price when the going rate is probably 80+. You might get a desk jockey and someone to look at film coming right from a GA slot but to get the type of people we want we need to pay like S&C coaches salaries. I'm hoping those rates can move up as its been suggested by some boosters. Right now we should worry about keeping assistant coaches after only two had pay raises.

Miles is between a rock and a hrd place with Petteway. If he goes off for 27 points like the last game he is an asset. Most games he doesn't do that plus he isn't careful with the ball and can be a turnover machine. Teams know to stop Shields inside and if TP can't get a good shot off, this offense is in trouble.

Would like to see AJ run with the 1s, have a feeling he was on white team to get reps and face blackshirts.
