My daughter and son in law will be at the game today. They live in Denver. My daughter is a CU grad (Law School) but she bleeds Husker Red! CUREDOUT!!!

I just talked to my daughter who lives across the street from Union Station in Kansas City. She said they closed the road in front of their building at 5 this morning so she and her husband couldn’t
get out to go to work!

Today is the anniversary of Brook’s (Berringer) death. What a sad day that was.

Penn State fans are livid! “It’s like the 2012 Nebraska game all over again.” Indiana came back and beat Penn State in overtime.

I feel sorry for NC State. Not being able to play at all today in the CWS because of COVID. They were exciting to watch.

They gambled and lost.
It sucks for them to be in the situation and I feel bad for them. But to my knowledge, the only reason the vaccinated kids were even tested and caused the shut down was because one unvaccinated player was symptomatic causing contact tracing for other unvaccinated players. This caused the school to have to test the players to see if they were negative and could compete. If the school would have had them prepared to compete and control what they can control, they would have most likely played on Saturday for a chance to go to the finals.
The COVID rules might not make a ton of sense in many regards, but they weren't new. NC State had their opportunity.

Something that hasn’t been mentioned is that Scott could just resign. I’m sure many people would cheer if that happens but I hope he gets one more year. However, he’s going to have to do some major housecleaning with his staff if allowed to return.

You really liked them? Not me. But then I'm pretty much a traditionalist. There's just something about a traditional uniform that defines a team. I'm not on the 'change your uniform for every game' bandwagon. But I respect your opinion and choice. I'm sure we would both agree on this: If they win-we really don't care what they wear! GBR!
