I think this one is going to hurt for a long, long time.

Damn I don't like Seattle but its hard not to respect them. Man they play hard. Kinda the same way I feel about New England.
All I can say about Green Bay is at least their players fought for it. They wanted it. Hell, Denver made it clear they didn't give two sh#ts. That's more embarrassing than the loss itself.
-
We'll all just be miserable together. In the end none of us got what we wanted. I actually wanted a GB-Den super bowl, for real. I was mad at Denver because I thought they were arrogant, and I thought the fan base was being a little arrogant too. That's really all it was about. If you felt personally slighted by that comment, then I take it back. I wasn't trying to troll anyone specifically, so I hope you can understand that I'm a little taken back when someone seeks me out af...

Tiger Woods will never win another major. The dude is damaged goods. Hell of a career, but he looks like a spent force now.
-
This might be the worst Masters ever. Even worse than 1993.
-
I wish I hadn't seen that Stanford locker room picture. Ruined my night.
-
Looking forward to being called a fair weather fan for the next eight months because I don't think four losses is acceptable.
-
OK, who else thinks the softball team got screwed?

I am in Thornton, Colorado and home safe with my family, for anyone concerned. My house is about three blocks from that Wal-Mart.

I read this morning that they have a suspect. I hope they catch him right away. http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/01/us/colorado-walmart-shooting/index.html

@ladyhawke the suspect has been arrested http://www.denverpost.com/2017/11/02/thornton-walmart-shooting-suspect-identified/

Melbourne, again. I love that city but it sure seems to be a vulnerable place these days.

No offense Xmas. That is a terrible trend that is happening when it comes to people and how they get information. They read headlines and assume they know what's going on without reading the article. Kids are awful with it in school. They read a headline and freak out over something they know nothing about. It's sad.
-
@Coach Power'T I find myself doing that from yime to time. It's a bad habit, but I like to get tons of info so I try to train myself to read all the articles.

I'll be so happy when this NCAA nonsense is over and I can watch baseball again.

I put the NCAA tournament 2nd behind college football bowl season for non-Husker sporting events that I like to watch. The Super Bowl is far behind both for me. That said, I actually really like baseball season and having 5 or 6 games per week. I don't get to watch that many, but I like following my teams.
I actually enjoy listening to baseball on the radio while I'm working. My wife likes when I listen to baseball on the radio while we're driving because that's the only time she can fall asleep in a car.

I’m a seasonal sports freak. College football is my favorite then March Madness then college and Royals baseball. I could care less about the super bowl (Unless The Chiefs, Rockies or Packers are in it). Love, Love, Love The Tour de France then I’m back to college football again. I agree that this year’s NCAA basketball tournament has been really exciting! My final team is still in it so we’ll see what happens!

Children of 90s dynasty players shouldn't be going to Iowa. That's just not right :(

Not a skill player, but Harrison Phillips was great at Stanford and is now at the Buffalo Bills. Among skill players, Xavier Watts from Burke was another skill player which NU has lost out on, but it's too early to tell how good he will be at Notre Dame.
Jaylin Bradley was an Omaha-area recruit who I thought would be good at Nebraska, but his career never panned out.

The Chiefs don't impress me at all. Not a Denver fan by any stretch, just my thoughts.

Reading many positive things about Keith Williams.

Aaron's gonna retire a one ring wonder.

I've been passing a kidney stone (s) for a month. How long is this friggin' thing gonna take?

TAKODA. The pissing it out is the least painful part. It's actually a relief, because the pain comes from the stone scraping through your ureters. When you pee it out, a lot of times you're pissed off that something that small was causing that much pain. If it's taking a month though, it's probably a bit bigger.

I'm a man....

Looks like I missed out on the starting lineup again. Oh well.

I never received your Venmo payment @CheeseHusker

Solution is simple, @C N Red, just be more popular!

Yikes. Brutal, brutal loss, Pack. Not impressed.

Want to order a custom jersey with "M. Rose" and #15 on it, but they don't allow you to for real players... but my excuse is that my real name actually is "M. Rose". Surely that's a loophole I can exploit?
-
Isn't it weird that all three teams wanting to go to LA are all teams that left it once before?

Adult Iowa fan steals baseball from kid, goes viral, gets shamed. Delicious.

@Enhance I thought about that for a bit yesterday, too. It looked like the guy sat down next to a man that looked like he could be his dad. Maybe this was a way to have a souvenir to remember a special day.
But then I thought if it were my dad and me. I would give the kid the ball and have a cool conversation with my dad about the special things in life. My point: if we're going to go "there", the man is is still an Iowa fan, and still a douche.
-
@JJ Husker I'm not debating the 'right' thing to do, as I already acknowledged it. I'm mostly questioning the reaction. I don't see the reason or logic behind completely losing one's mind and publicly shaming this guy, or calling him some pretty bad names, and there's been a lot of that. You would've thought he punched the kid in the face and said something bad about his mother based on how some people are treating it.
I also don't really see where he 'stole' it or took it from the kid. They both went for it at the same time. The older guy got it. Again, yeah, it's sort of lame to compete against a kid for that, but some people are going totally overboard about it IMO.
-
I guess I don't see the problem with the guy taking some abuse for it. He did the wrong thing and now he's paying for it. Granted I haven't specifically seen the things being said about him. Maybe there is some overreaction but that's why you shouldn't be a douche, in public anyway.
Besides that....Iowa

Was anyone getting banned messages?

@CheeseHusker likely some spammer was using multiple Australian IPs and we blanket banned the whole country. I seem to remember something about that from back in the day.

Hockey! Yay, my winter has been saved from basketball.

It's going to snow. Again. Why did I move to this #$%Ing state again?

Cubs fan? Really Bo? You are so fired.

Between Suh and Lavonte David, not a great day for ex-Huskers.

It's gotta be Schwartz. I mean, though he is an intense, physical player, he was never "dirty" as he's been in the NFL. Also, keep in perspective that his overwhelming strenght makes some of the things he's gotten gruff for look much worse than they were. But there's no excuse for other things he's done either.
