I feel bad for the dude. Every time they showed him the last quarter it looked like someone had just kicked his dog. It's a damn shame really. I know he may not be as good, or as successful as we hoped, but hate to see anyone down like that. Life is life after all.4 points

Want to see Oz back in there. Odd he gets benched for a fumble, but Lee stays and stays and stays....4 points

I like watching games like this, gives me the illusion that we are good4 points

I agree. The way this defense has been playing, I can't think of any way the Illini could score a lot in this game. Except maybe on special teams?4 points

Pretty simple. IF your top choice turns you down, you ask your 2nd choice. So on and so forth. Or just go the Eichorst route and ask your 10th choice right out of the gate.4 points

Haven't been good about getting this thread going this year, but you know what to do. Offense: Devine rumbles for 80+ and 2 Tds. Spielman gets another TD. Defense: AWill gets a pick. Gifford and Davis twins continue to dominate.3 points

I'm guessing 90% of the time people boo their own team, it's aimed at the coaches.3 points

Some people were either booing Tanner Lee's pick six against Rutgers or that he was put back in the game after that.3 points

I'm not a boo'er. If I'm that miserable, I'll stay home.3 points

Perhaps we could have gotten a better deal if Adidas hadn't used that cash buying recruits for Louisville.3 points

I learned -Tanner Lee can complete a game without throwing an interception. He had a decent game and it would've been a lot more impressive if Stanley Morgan wouldn't have dropped 3 or 4 extremely catchable balls. - The D continues to improve and can bring some pressure when Diaco asks them to. -Nebraska can play a lesser opponent and not have the outcome in question until the end. -Illinois is atrocious. -Our top 3 running backs are fairly interchangeable but each is a little different.2 points

I've learned that Decker and Jameis deserves more PT over the guys who were named starters at the beginning of the season.2 points

I'm actually really digging the Friday night game. Now, my whole Saturday is open to watch other games or do whatever I want while not worrying about the Huskers.2 points

Booing at college football players can be a positive thing for them 1. It lets the coaching staff know that the fans are not happy with the on-field performance 2. It prepares the player in the event they are drafted by the Cleveland Browns.2 points

I wish people would use commas a bit more. I had to reread that, as at first I read "If they lose Riley..." and wondered how a coach was going to get hurt, and realized the poster meant "If they lose, Riley...".2 points

IMO every game from here out is a big game for Riley.2 points

Yeah I think you're right. I don't recall a time I've ever booed at Memorial Stadium, but, when Lee came back in and I heard boos I had the feeling it was mostly directed at Riley/Langs. I don't think some people realize in the moment the players know exactly why the booing is happening even if the boos are directed at coaches. Case in point, I'm sure Lee knew the boos were because of his performance. It's bit like adding salt on the wound and further humiliating him. I get that he's a 'big kid' at a major division one football program, but he's also not making millions of dollars playing for a professional team. How an action is interpreted doesn't always match the intent.2 points

I'm kind of a combination of 2 and 4 with maybe a hint of 3 so I picked 5. I'm disappointed by recent results but will never give up on / root against the Corn. The division among Husker Nation is part of the problem. I understand we've got a long way back to being a championship-caliber program and I don't care how they do it (within the rules, of course). We should be contending for titles now but for the coaching / system and it's so obvious I don't understand why there's any division.2 points

. This statement is so flawed I'm not even sure where to begin. It's akin to seeing a spot where lightning struck once and standing in the spot until it strikes again.2 points

It's clear there hasn't been any major legislation that has been passed to affect the economy. What they are going to hang their hat on is all the executive orders he signed cutting regulations. I find it frustrating (and funny at the same time) that the Republicans thought Obama was such a tyrant because he used so many executive orders.......now they love them.2 points

It's pretty weak of Zuckerberg to equate Trump complaining about Facebook to people being upset Facebook let Russians purchase a crapload of highly-charged political ads and publish a boatload of fake news to drive an agenda. To me, it seems one side there has legitimate beef. The other is just... whining. Because that side whines a lot. About everything.2 points

13/14 teams control their own destiny in the Big Ten right now, and a program's record at night is just completely irrelevant at this point. A win at Illinois doesn't even seem like a sure thing, given the loss to directional Illinois.2 points
