  5. It definitely would be more consequential. 2 is more than 1, 2M is more than 5, 000 etc. but I totally get what @teachercd is saying. 1 vote (each vote) is the most important thing and we have to treat it as such. Looking at it any other way is what causes some people to feel their vote doesn't count. It's why we have pathetic voter turnout rates. But yes, obviously Trump or anyone f#&%ing around with the actual voting results would have more dire consequences than 1 ballot getting lost.

  7. Bumping the thread as Miami under new is looking really good. Again, hoping the addition of Austin and Lubick will show similar results....We are getting kids that "look" like teams that are winning...

  8. I'm too lazy to look any further but according to random s#!t I just read, if Trump or Barr were impeached right now the law states the Senate would have to prioritize that over a supreme court vote. Pelosi is "considering" it. It's time for the Democrats to play hardball.

  9. I've also noticed there is no more "Mark forum as read" button at the top when you do into a forum on mobile. I kinda liked that one. I will say the entire board loads so much faster which is awesome

  10. Stand in line for 6 hours to vote, you realize people have kids and jobs right? Also Here are the rules for Absentee Ballot voting in Texas: You may vote by absentee ballot in Texas if: you are 65 years or older; you are disabled; you will be out of the county on Election Day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or you are confined in jail, but otherwise eligible, or certified for participation in the address confidentiality program. Do us all a favor and educate yourself next time.

  11. Seriously? It is nowhere near "dead even". 23 wins is a significant lead in 15 years. During that 15 year stretch, they have 6 seasons with 11 wins. Nebraska has zero. During that 15 years, they had a better record 11 times. During the same period, they have 7 bowl wins to our 5 and they missed out on 2 years of bowls due to sanctions. I am a Nebraska fan but it is clear Penn State has been the significantly better program over the last 15 years. Prior to 2005, we were a dramatically better program than they were.

  12. JD took a lot of hard shots for us and stayed on the field, making plays. His toughness is the last thing anyone should question.

  13. Rewatched the OSU game from last year. We had LB fit problems, and werent as bad as the score. As for the offense, Martinez was trying to do too much, which is understandable considering our oline's issues, a toxic RB, the lack of perimeter blocking and drive from the WRs. We're going to be more game this year, and don't be surprised if this looks more like the 2018 game, but with improvements on D. Also, I think a few things are being understated: -the comfort factor Frost has with Lubick -Dawson will be an improvement at OLB (helped improve Markus Golden from 2.5 sacks the previous year to 10 sacks -the defensive analyst we got is legit. Was DC at BC and was a more than decent considering their level of talent. -we know who our RB is -we have a big body WR that can catch the 50-50 balls While we still have to prove it on field, we look better than we were last year.

  15. KJ Costello just set the SEC single game passing record in both Leach's first game and Bo's first game (back). Entertaining game.

  18. I don't agree with Maher all that often, but I found this video on Reddit and it echoes a lot of what I've said previously about the GOP: All they care about is power. And the country is far worse off for letting them continue to have it. And he nails it at the end. The only way to subvert their attempt to disregard the election and try to win in the courts is to crush them at the ballot box.

  20. Remember Ozigbo was third on the depth chart and see what he did later on in the season. I wouldn't be too worried about anything because it takes time to adapt. New offense and not a lot of practice time will affect that.

  21. It's really two different things: 1) That one party is doing the most uni-American thing possible by making it harder for certain people to vote and/or undermine the legitimacy of the entire process. 2) The majority of Americans who choose not to vote in this election, like every other election.

  23. Which state legislatures do you guys think would go along with what Trump wants? North Carolina has shown they don’t give a s#!t about anything but advancing the GOP agenda. Maybe Wisconsin and Pennsylvania too.

  24. Board descriptions in the Sports section are black, while in Other Stuff they're light gray. Really, that light gray text appears in a lot of places on here, and it should pretty much be eliminated everywhere, because it's hard to read.

  25. He did not disappoint. He is one big kid and man can he run. We pretty much kept him in check during the first half but he broke a long one on us in the 3rd while he was in the wildcat. He ended up with 115 yards rushing on 11 carries and 60 of those yards came on 1 run. St. Paul has a LB that is a So. and he was very impressive. His name is Mason Anderson and he will be one to keep an eye on. He stood out more then anyone on their defense.

  26. It is simple. Out of all the s#!t that we can do in this country...Voting and counting votes should be the simplest...period. It should start on a Friday at 12:01am, it should end Monday at midnight (is that really Tuesday), those two days should be off with pay for everyone, one of the days Sat/Sun should be off with pay as well, booths open 24/7 during that time. And every freaking vote needs to be counted. And, they need to have charter busses going around to pick up people that want to get out and vote in person at a booth. It needs to be free, easy, simple and fast. And you should still get a sticker and cookie! This is like a bad episode of Moonlighting (Anyone remember that?)

  28. I have heard that PJ pushes really hard for a commit, like crazy hard. And I bet it works a lot of the time and then some of those kids get back home and not being in his office and pressured probably helps them to sort of re-think things. It seems like he has had a decent amount of kids that have decommitted.

  35. That's stretching it a bit. You have no clue if he came to TCU with the same work ethic that he came here with. He may have been busting his a$$ the last 3 years here and has lost interest in playing (part of a reason maybe for leaving) and showed up there out of shape and not working as hard. I fully agree we need better talent and better development of that talent. But, I fail to see this as evidence by itself.
