It took awhile to get going but someone always stepped up.  Those last 8 minutes the Huskers really stepped on their throat.

I also had that dream. I knew it was a dream because in a heated moment Tim Miles actually kept his cool and the players didnt collapse after a bad call...

I absolutely love this  weather, lakes making ice ,started the snow mobile yesterday and changed the  oil in the four wheeler to its winter weight. Let's go get some walleye boys and  girls!

I'll always remember where I watched that game.   In an old and supposedly haunted farmhouse all by myself.  While my brother and his friend (who lived there) were outside looking for critters to shoot and drinking beer the entire game.  Kinda weird I know.  It's just one of those things I'll always remember.  I probably pissed off the ghost when I screamed after Davidson made the catch.  I can't believe it's been 21yrs.

How do you know how good judges are at judging?

In that case, I'll choose to hydroplane. There has to be a better way of determining if a judge is worthy of retaining his/her job than relying on Joe q public to make an informed decision. We don't get to elect them originally but it's up to us to decide if they can keep their job? These aren't SC justices or federal level but municipal and district court level.  Doesn't seem like the best way.

The problem with the judge elections is they require... research. People don't like to do that.

I don't want politicians to decide either, though.

I suppose the one thing the ballot can do with a judge is if that judge does something clearly awful, like give a guy who rapes an unconscious woman a 30 day jail sentence, the public will find out about it and then he/she can lose their job.

@jaws I didn't remember anything about that. But fact is, he's a liar, so who's to say he isn't lying now. I honestly don't know how you can believe the guy about anything after what has happened.

That was sweet. After round 9 the only thing I wanted was for Bud to get a knockdown on this dude and was pleasantly surprised he got the TKO in the final seconds. 

Hell of a fight. He was totally in control for all but the first round or two.
