UCF's National Championship claim is nowhere near as silly as s#!t like Alabama's claim of a 1941 National Championship (they finished 9-2 and #20 in the AP poll). As long as you have schools like Alabama, who really doesn't need to inflate their number of championships any, doing this, I have no problem at all with UCF doing the same.

It's pretty ridiculous if you're rewarding teams for losing tough games. If they're winning them, sure, give them extra credit.

Oklahoma was suffering from bad coaching and sanctions. I understand all programs go through lulls, but blaming our current one on a "changing landscape" is bull. We're not good because we can't get/develop the talent we need, there is no other excuse.

any time a player gets ripped on here is a joke. these guys put it all out there for the N and some of our know it all posters shred them for it. every one is a pro on the internet.

That's why there is no point looking for holds, they happen all the time and unless there are 5 more refs they will continue to happen. many are border line and in the end for the most part it all evens out.

Different question but related- do they release a TV schedule for the volleyball season or is it all much later than FB games?

I thought the TV schedule should be out already, but I looked at last year, and last year NET didn't list their games until August 21st. And last year the red-white scrimmage was on Aug 18th and the first match was on Aug 24th. Soooo.......if things are similar this year, I would expect the ESPN networks and BTN to announce their TV broadcasts sometime during the week of August 19th and NET to announce theirs during the week of August 26th. I don't remember how firm the schedule remained throughout the season. It seems they added some Nebraska games (mainly BTN) but didn't delete any.

If you can't leech off people's streaming services you probably won't save a ton of money in the long run.

Fall sports were able to do camps and informal practices this summer, but I am not sure what all is involved with the football workouts.  My son has been doing soccer camp at his high school most of the summer, and was supposed to do a pre-tryout camp this week, with tryouts/practices starting next week.  All of this has changed with today's announcement.
