There's the perception that those old dynasties were built from the ground up organically, whereas some of the more recent powerhouse teams (Heat/Warriors/Cavs) were dependent on superstars conglomerating for a title hunt. I don't personally have much of a problem with it but I understand the genesis of the ire.

The Warriors were built from the ground up organically, at least for their runs in 15 and 16. But I do understand the complaints now, while I don't mind.

True, I just think Durant's move (and their dominating success in 2016/17) made them more hateable. Such is fandom.

@RedDenver Agree about the T-Mart stuff (some was OK, but it was overplayed). But I think part of it is just that a new cast of characters hasn't emerged yet. As the season goes on and certain players start to stand out more, we'll probably see more of them.

dude - it is a very big deal, he beat #1 and #12 in the nation and will be ranked #7 when the dust settles. His first major competition and he has Olympic sized aspirations.
