NW is extremely tough place to win. Damon got numbers up, and NW student population is no longer the lowest. BUT with open enrolment, all the best athletes in North Omaha want to play at a winner- that's North. Population improving, number of athletes not so much. The better kids in that area will go to North or Burke.

DB and the principal did not get along at NW. This is a good move. Warren is going to bring in a staff full of former Huskers/NFL players.

@VectorVictor Miles sent him to Iceland to train with the native people and become strong with them. This way, he has that toughness he needs, next he comes to Nebraska for the strength training and finally when he gets on the court he will carry a hammer with him to intimidate the opponent. 

He was obviously tapped to be the next HC, if SE stayed on as AD. So much unearned praise from AD and lots of talk from Diaco about Nebraska being the only job he would want.

Biggest whiners as a fan-base. Lost whatever respect I had for them (very little) when they filed a lawsuit about the missed PI call. Bitch about it all you want like all the other fanbases whom got screwed over by missed calls., but that crossed a line.

@Moiraine Yeah, I’m aware. I was just commenting on how fast it became necessary to once again relegate them to P&R. I thought it was a good idea to try a temporary allowance given current affairs. But unsurprisingly it wasn’t handled very well. Seemed to me like some P&R regulars wanted to make sure any vaguely related discussion stay off the front page and in P&R whereas originally that policy wasn’t received too well.

I think it was obvious it was heading nowhere good. Just quicker than even I expected.

@JJ Husker  I think I only saw one post from a "P&R regular" but maybe there were others that were deleted.

To be fair a few of those topics weren't exactly news, it was just bait-y articles that I saw passed around reddit's political subs all day that day and the loaded question belonged in P&R anyways.  I missed anything after I posted but I'll imagine it was entertaining and that I did my part I guess.

@ladyhawke I would love to know, but I doubt if we ever do as fans....unless it's a long time down the road  and he does an interview and it's asked.  Even then, we might not know the real story.

I hope he finds what he’s looking for. Odd that he would wait this long to leave. If he would rather play lacrosse then this is a perfect opportunity for him to do so.
