What a dumbass!

I learned that we have a fairly small core of absolute stud ballers If we can acquire / develop just a few more on each side of line we will be a very dangerous team. I realize it was just one win, and against Minnesota. But you can't say you aren't excited to see Martinez, Spielman, Washington and a few others playing like they do.

All trash talking aside, congratulations on the win. It's a good day and a good game for coach Frost. No doubt the first of many!

We learned that Adrian Martinez has every chance to become the best QB to ever play at Nebraska. This is his seventh game. As a true Freshman.

I wouldn’t say I learned this, but we are a few plays here and there away from being 5-2 or 6-1. This is is a good team that needs a little work to be great. I’m so excited for next season.

In today's college football game, just about every team is going to give up yards and points. Seemingly every offense runs a spread, uptempo scheme. Every defense, no matter how well designed, has a weakness which can be exploited. I am 100% on board with Chinander. He's putting guys, schematically, into the right positions. We actually got a lot of 3 and outs from the defense. It was tough for the defense when they brought in the #2 QB...kid was a baller and not rattled at all. I think those of you whining about how many yards and points the defense gave up today need to go back to Football 100. Facts: 1. This is Chinander's first season. 2. In the last 5 years, Nebraska's defense has been through 4 different defensive scheme changes: Pelini, Banker, Diaco, and now Chinander. Good gawd...stop with the "we have to fire ______ coach" crap. Get a damn grip.

I learned we are an elite pass rusher away from being very damn good.

Guys, I know we're doing the post-game sideline interviews with Frost, but I'm nervous we're still gonna blow this lead.

You DO realize that Purdue just put up 500+ yards of offense and 49 points against Ohio State, RIGHT?????? So according to the "logic" from some on this board, Ohio State has no talent and OBVIOUSLY they need to fire their DC and bring in someone else who can do better.

I learned that today Nebraska's Husker Vision went back to playing only "Sirius" for the entire Tunnel Walk. The result? A WIN. With over 650 yards total offense, and 3 rushers each with at least 100 yards. The Lesson: Don't mess with tradition.

Eric Lee. That guy sprinted for 40-50 yards to make that tackle, that's the effort and dedication frost wants out of his players.

All season tunnel walk they did the new trend blend at tunnel walk time. It was cool but lost the crowd right out of the gate. We also went 0-6. Now, I’m not saying, I’m just saying. Went back to our roots today. It starts today!! GBR!!!

Think about this. I think that might have been the best overall performance (not taking into account the moment or the stakes, just by the numbers/yards/production) by a Nebraska quarterback in the history of the school.

Keep attacking. Those F'ers ran up the score last year.

Ozigbo is still showing the same instincts he's had for years--he falls forward, practices good ball security...he deserved better during his tenure here.

UCF fans were certainly right about Chinander. That guy sucks.

Ozigbo is having a great game against Minnesota and a great year and I couldn't be prouder. In a year where a lot of guys didn't want to stick it out, he came in this season focusing on what he needed to improve and has done a fantastic job. He wouldn't have made some of these big runs in years past but he got slimmed down to make it happen and it's paying off huge for him.

If our coaches get to talk to him next week, the counter to the pressure from Purdue would be "How sure are you that Jeff Brohm will be at Purdue all 4 years you are there while we can assure you Scott Frost will be here.

I learned that I'm gonna miss Ozigbo when he graduates

I learned the following: (1) Our offense has been great enough to win us many of the games we lost this year (2) Our defense is not good enough to win us games yet. I really think that chinander going to the booth might allow him to see the field better and make better calls. (3) We have NO SPECIAL TEAMS WHAT SO EVER. In fact, they are not even trying to do anything special. No great teams have ever been able to win championships without good special teams. We will not become great again until we work on having great special teams. We can sugar coat this all we want, we do not have a good special teams coach and that is plain obvious. (4) When we only commit six penalties and get two turnovers, we win. Imagine that! If we did this in four other games, we would have easily won those games. I can easily see us 5-2 instead of 1-6. It is such a great feeling to win again. I feel happy for Frost and these players and hope that this is the start of something special. Finally, to those who post cussing and belittling other members who criticize some of the coaches, I say, get over yourselves. If we want our beloved Huskers to get back to championship form, we need to have good coaches. Frost is a good coach, chinander is not, at least not yet. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion without having others cussing at them because they stated their opinion. If you don’t like the posts, stop reading and go drink some beer.

I think we all should eat crow. We all scoffed at the thought of Ozigbo being a major factor in this offense. He is working his tail off and has made himself into a guy who will play on Sundays. Nothing but respect for how this young man has handled his business.

I learned somw Nebraska fans expect our defense to hold every single opponent to -89 yards and no points. Hell, even then they'd probably still want to fire the DC because -89 yards wouldn't be good enough for them. Okay so this ^^^ is clearly hyperbole on my part, but still doesn't change the fact that some members of our fanbase have incredibly unrealistic expectations for our defense.

In 3 quarters... However, I agree it was an epic performance especially for a freshman. Best game by a NU QB since probably Taylor Martinez RS Freshman year. Adrian's ceiling is WAAAAAAAAYYYYY higher than Taylor's ever was. He is going to be fantastic.

If we should win

Today we will further solidify being the greatest fans in college football. An 0-6/0-10 team will continue to put 90000+ in their stadium. I think this is what I’m most proud of.
