That we need to win more so we're not stuck with Brady Quinn again.

I said it after Colorado and I'll say it again. This team is going to be good. We can quibble over coaching decisions, talent levels, etc, but I think we can all agree that if you take last year's team and Ohio State blocks the punt and scores a TD to make it 9-7 they wouldn't have recovered. The future is bright, and honestly the near future doesn't look too bad. I was fully prepared to get owned today, instead I was frustrated we didn't pull out the win. A couple of dropped passes and missed tackles and maybe we blow them out. That is where Frost has this team.

I thought we had improved a lot, now I know we have. Also, I didn't learn this 'cause I already knew it, but Husker "fans" who try to downplay anything positive by saying things like "OSU obviously isn't a top 10 team this season" are really annoying.

The improvement is absolutely real, and tangible.

I wish people would stop pissing and moaning about the defense. They have clearly gotten better. They have a long way to go but we had enough opportunities to win the game, and they got 3 takeaways.

That there is no pleasing some mother&$*+ers in this fan base

Get a few more players and this team can compete with anyone in the Big 10. This Ohio State team is weaker than past teams. Martinez still has his freshman moments D still has gaping mistakes. Urban leaves in a year or two because of *health*

Not big into moral victories. But with this team, against a top 10 team on the road, if you didn't at least enjoy watching today you have a huge dump in your pants. Missed too many opportunities to ultimately win, but gives some optimism for what is in store.

Don't even care how the second half goes. This team is growing up right before our eyes. But just for good measure, let's go kick their butts in the second half.

We could be up 21-16 if not for the backwards pass. On Ohio State. Thats a freshman mistake, but anyone that tries to claim last year’s team was better is crazy.

Bull crap. Frost knows that NU can’t play Ohio State straight up this year and try to win. Did you guys not like when Frost went for it on 4th and 2 on the first drive. NU isn’t talented enough right now to line up teams like Ohio State and try to win games playing conservatively. If NU is resorting to early onsides kicks in 2-3 years, then I might agree with you. But, Frost is trying to do what it takes to win games, with this year’s talent. I would rather have this than the laying down and not offering any competition.

I cited a tweet elsewhere that Operation Faithful Patriot may be costing us up to $6M per day to deploy troops down there. I just saw that they were up deploying barbed wire around the border. To ward off a peaceful caravan of refugees almost a 1000 miles away on the southern tip of Mexico. If you honestly think that's a threat that requires millions of dollars spent and thousands of troops deployed to our southern border, you're either a moron or a mindless partisan. I don't think you're the former, Ric. So how about you apply some of that famous independent thought and think about whether that's a wise use of resources. Oh, and screw Trump.

This team is playing like they believe in themselves. We need to plug in the right recruits to fit the scheme but all in all....They made HUGE leaps in the past 3 games.

The team Bo's first year was comprised of the following 4 classes before his arrival 2004- 26th recruiting class 2005- 8th recruiting class 2006- 21st recruiting class 2007- 19th recruiting class Avg rank 18.5 Scotts team this year is comprised of the following 4 classes prior to his arrival 2014- 35th recruiting class 2015- 30th recruiting class 2016- 26th recruiting class 2017- 23rd recruiting class Avg rank 28.5 I dont even want to go into how much worse the classes Riley left were because of the amount of top class talent that isnt on the roster any longer.

Instead of folding and getting blow out they stepped up and got stop after stop in the 4th quarter and gave the offense a chance. Not too mention had 3 takeaways. Ohio State is still a good team.

And everyone complained about Texas running the Big 12........Ohio St and Urban Meyer got that review!

I take back my comments about Chin from the NW game thread. Good luck scheming with only one star player (Barry). Our team speed is terrible on defense. We have maybe two average to okay pass rushers.
