This staff deserves everything they've got coming, in regards to criticism.... All the petty jabs at Riley/Callahan, they are fielding the biggest embarrassment in program history.

Come on. This years team would kill last years team. Tanner lee would throw 4 picks, 2 of the pick 6 variety.

I learned that the coaching staff still has some learning to do. I am confident they can and will. Need some big old patience pills.

The good-Oz and JD played lights out. Oz willed this team to win. The loss was hard today. A game with better coaching and less penalties and we win. We had the game, but managed to find a way to lose. With the risk of getting banned, a lot of this was on the staff. You have to dance with the girl you brought. If we do not have an elite NT or edge rusher, quit using the scheme that needs this to succeed. Their O was as one dimensional as one can be and we still let them march 99 yards to score.....Penalties don't help, but damn, how much longer can coaches continually allow guys to make repeated penalties that truly cost us wins and still play. I miss Marvin Sanders A lot. I miss DB's actually playing press coverage and not allowing the QB's to be allowed to throw quick pop passes or timing routes as the receiver is being beaten up on the LOS. I liked it when we actually looked for the ball and made INT's......Opposing OC's now know to just throw it up. You'll get a completion or PI. Our OL can't get one yard...Not reliably.... We have a long way to go. I expect even more bumps as this staff and team continue to grow. I know Frost said his system works. I believe it does, but I think it is more accurate to believe it as it relates to culture and accountability. We will not win the B1G hoping that our O will simply outscore you and D is simply used to give the O a rest.....

Perhaps learning the name of our quarterback would be a good place to start.

I learned NW has the greatest offensive line in the history of football. 64 pass attempts and not one hold. It's a testament to their superior skill.....

If previous coaches were responsible for the product they put on the field, these coaches are as well. When Chin was hired I wondered, aloud, how long it would be until Frost is pressured to fire his buddy. At this rate it's going to be sooner than I expected. If Chinander would have just been totally mediocre, he would have been a big improvement over Diaco. He's roughly as bad as Diaco thus far.

I don’t want to see another crap post about Ozigbo. I’ve seen them for four years now. “He’s worse than Terrell Newby,” “He’s worse than Mikale Wilbon,” “He’s slow and bad.” Yada yada. he doesn’t have a spot in Nebraska lore, nor is he as good as many recent backs from the Pelini era, but he’s a gamer. For what it's worth, I felt bad for you guys losing this game, even though it was Homecoming. You were the better team. You have a talented freshman quarterback and a powerful running back. You have a defensive lineman name Khalil not Mack. We have no running game with our star running back permanently retired. Your fans travel very well and by far the best visiting nice fans (Michigan...ugh) to Evanston. With the very painful Westerkamp Hail Mary, with this game I'd call it even if I may. I am a big Nebraska fan the rest of the way, and I gain utmost satisfaction seeing Nebraska beat hated Iowa. I'm really glad to see Nebraska in the Big 10 (nothing against Rutgers, but...). Frost will have you winning the West in two years--wouldn't surprise me.

I learned that for all the talk from fans about the players "quitting" it is these fans who have quit on the team. Yeah, we're 0-6. Yeah, it sucks. But, this was the first time this season (pretty sure any way) we had a lead going into the 4th Q. Results aren't showing by wins, but this is actually getting better. Right now Frost and these coaches are trying to win with one phase of the game--offense. They are east of the rock and west of the hard place. They have to play the hand they were dealt. We have no depth to speak of on both interior lines and aside from Stoltenberg and the Davis twins, no one really else who is capable on defense. The punt return game is non-existent, we can't block anyone seemingly on kickoffs, and on defense we just can't stop anyone. To all you arm chair experts calling for Chinader to be fired, give me a f'ing break. He is doing the best he can with what he has. Now, if this is the type of product we're seeing in year 3 on defense...then we can talk about maybe bringing in a new DC. Plus, you guys have to keep in mind how many DCs and DB coaches we've had in the last 6-7 years. That is tough for players--a lot tougher than you would ever imagine. I know it doesn't look like it, but this team did vet a little better today. Yeah the loss sucks, but I am seeing some really good and positive steps in the right direction.

I think this thing is going to turn around but Scott has probably cost us 2-3 games with his in game coaching. That should've been a win.

0-6 isn’t a scarce misfire here and there. This is the worst season in 129 years of Nebraska football.

Can someone who believes the refs are against Nebraska please explain to me the reason? Why would the big10 want to conspire against Nebraska its only blue blood program in the west? Is the officiating bad. yes. Is it a conspiracy to keep Nebraska from winning? No. It's not the refs fault aaron Williams is a horrible player or that foster a team captain is good for 2 penalties a game.

I put a lot of this on Chin today. I mentioned last week that my biggest complaint was playing too much base personnel and not matching up with the offense enough. We continued to ask Aaron Williams to cover Nagel despite him getting burned over and over again. Williams even gave up completions on two plays where he got penalties. He couldn't even cover him when he held or interfered. Nagel had almost as many receiving yards today as any other NW receiver has on the SEASON. WHY COULD WE NOT PUT SOMEONE ELSE ON HIM??? WHY COULD WE NOT BRING IN ERIC LEE OR CAM TAYLOR OR ANYONE ELSE TO TRY TO COVER HIM??? WHY DID WE INSIST ON COVERING THEIR BEST RECEIVER WITH A SAFETY??? Instead, we just kept doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result. There was no different result and it was a major reason that we lost.

This loss is ALL on scott frost.
