Is Chili & Cinnamon Rolls Nebraska's "signature dish?"

How has no one yet pointed out that multiple states think that cinnamon rolls and chili is their unique thing? A quick Google search turns up more mentions of Iowa and Kansas than Nebraska. People in South Dakota also think they are special for having had it in the school cafeteria. It's just a weird Midwest thing.
Runza is the obvious answer for signature Nebraska dish. It's just not something you see much anywhere else, but everyone who has spent any time in Nebraska knows damn well what it is.

Is it possible to remove the "Donor" flair? That fundraiser was under old management six years ago.

It's game day, nerf herders.

Jaevon McQuitty's friend, the father of McQuitty's godson, passed away. There's a GoFundMe for his funeral.

Jalen Hurts transferring. McKewon mentions Maryland as a possibility.

@Redux I am happy to make a bet with you that Wisconsin is not dead and will beat Illinois. I hate them and would love them to die but they will stick around and compete still.
-
Hopefully not Maryland. We play them the 2nd to last game of the season next year.
TCU would only be 4 hours from home in Channelview, TX.
Plus:
QuoteTCU needs a grad transfer quarterback, because of questions surrounding Justin Rodgers’ injury and TCU’s quarterback situation in general. Hurts, while not a prolific passer, has a better track record than most quarterbacks in the country as far as success is concerned, and he threw for 40 touchdowns to just 10 interceptions in his two seasons as a starter for Alabama.

Joel Taylor, who drove The Dominator on Discovery Channel's Storm Chasers series with his partner Reed Timmer, has died. He was 38. No cause of death has been announced.

Johnny Stanton is at Vikings camp as a Fullback. That's a crazy career path!

Just glanced at tomorrow's kickoff temperature. Yikes.

Just when you thought the UCF national championship tomfoolery had died down...

@Redux as are half of Alabama's eligible players, I'd wager (in Vegas, where it's legal).

@ZRod because before this year, nobody had ever heard it before because the Minnesota Vikings don't have a WINNING tradition.

Lazzari's downtown is closing.

This may be blasphemous, but in the eight years I lived in Lincoln, I never once went to Lazzari's.
Buffalo Wings & Rings got on my crap list several years ago. They used to partner with my previous company right when they opened, but they then changed management and abruptly started ghosting us. We couldn't even get phone calls back. So, we casually dropped in on them one time to confront them and find out what was going on. Took them 30 mins. to "find the manager," and when he finally showed up, he just awkwardly said they couldn't help us anymore and then walked away.
-
@Enhance yeah but that is business, we're talking food.
Seriously, they had some of the best wings I've ever had and their chips, salsa and queso was awesome.....or maybe I was drunk

@JJ Husker Trick question; there's no such thing as a middling Prince song.
-
@Cdog923 you are correct. Compared to Taylor Swift songs, none of Prince’s are middling.

Longwell's and Barry's aren't the best of friends, apparently.

@SECHusker They need to do joint press conferences.

Mike Riley went to the Nebrasketball game tonight and was seen shaking hands on the way out. Such a class gentleman and a great ambassador for Husker Athletics.

Minnesota is desperate to sell tickets to games. Like, real desperate.

More Lebowski content coming?

More Martinez boys coming to Nebraska? Maybe, says Taylor.

@Cdog923 He might be mellowed out by now. Taylor was his oldest son I believe. People are more obsessive about their oldest.
