@BigRedBuster Exactly.  There are always many things the team can/should do to take the game out of the referee’s hands but that we didn’t/haven’t does not reduce the importance of obvious bad calls by the officials.

I’m not very prone to conspiracies but our history with B1G officiating paints a pretty compelling picture that there is something less than fair and equal afoot.

@JJ Husker When playing good teams in the top 15, a lot can go into a win or a loss.  A team can play very well and still lose just to a better team in a well fought game.  But....you should never have this bad of a mistake by the refs that very well could have affected the outcome of the game.  

It is just absolutely unacceptable.

and dudeguy....i do worry about injuries but football injuries pale when compared to what could happen to him while driving. i have to let him live his life and he loves football (so do i) so i let him follow his dream to play.

I got home about half way thru it and started watching....again. It still hurts.

while it's sad that he died...it is more about a great story about overcoming adversity and keeping a positive attitude. don't let the negative sh#t bring you down and you can still achieve great things no matter how stacked against you things seem to be. i hope we have a team full of brook berringers who can overcome all the negative stuff that people just can't let go of around here and they can achieve the greatness we all want for them.

Being a parent to a chronically ill child is one of the hardest things to endure. You never know what the next day will bring. My hope is they have amazing family and friends around them to be with them as they go through something no parent should. 

Do you know these people commando? Otherwise, for those of us who have lost a baby, this is just not something I want to see on Huskerboard.  Sorry but it is so painful.

Actually the answer is probably because it's still a federal offense. But it just seems like such a waste. Probably can't be avoided though since seized weed isn't of verifiable strength or origin. I know that wouldn't fly in Colorado.
